I finally get home soaked in sweat. I run up to my room and hop in the shower. The cool water tingling against my warm skin feels amazing. I finish my shower and throw on some sweatpants and a tee shirt. I brush through my damp hair and put it in a messy bun. I have 3 hours until the party so I just relax and watch Netfilx. I always wonder why it takes so long for Netfilx to update. I hear my mom come in the front door and I run down to greet her. "Mommy you're home" I giggle as I give her a bear hug. "Hey Chica, how was your first day of school ?" " It was great actually I meet some cool people and I got invited to a party tonight". "That's wonderful sweetheart " my mom says as she walks to her room. I have no idea what to wear so I decide to text Nat. "hey Nat it's T , idk what to wear tonite plzz helppp :(". I go downstairs to the kitchen and grab some chips and I hear my phone buzz. "It's okay girl I will help u , be over in 5 :)" . I hear the doorbell ring and its Nat, we head up to my room. "Okay Nat you have to help me I have no idea what people even wear to parties" , I say in a whining tone. " It depends, you want to look sexy but classy, and nothing that makes you look like a total slut" she says. I walk into my closet and find a black dress that is strapless and that is very fitted , I try it on and show Nat. "That is hot, if I were a boy, I'd be all over you." "Haha thanks, should I wear heels or wedges?" "Heels !!" , we both shout in excitement. I throw on some heels , curl my hair ,put on my makeup, and grab my clutch. Nat has her clothes with her so she puts on a red sparkly tight dress and some red heels. We hop in Nat's car and zoom off down the street. We pull up to this huge house with tons of teenagers raging outside. I put on my best smile as we walk in. This tall boy with blonde hair walks up to us "Hey Nat you made it !" He shouts. "Hey Shane, this is my friend Tiara" . "hello" I sweetly say. "hey Tiara , so do you ladies want to get something to drink ?" . "Sure" , Nat shouts. Shane escorts us to a mini bar with a bartender , whoah , whoever lives here must be rich. Shane orders us some Jell-O shots and a glass of champagne. That Jell-O shot was really strong and the champagne is very bubbly I love the way it tingles on my tongue. The song, This is How we Do It by Katy Perry comes on and Nat and I start dancing by the bar. "Hey Nat want to go dance with me ?" Shane says excitedly. "Sure, T I will be right back." Nat shouts over the loud music . Even through I knew right back meant by the end of the night after I get laid. I walk around the party observing people and I feel someone playing with my hair. I turn around and Cameron has a lock of my long brown hair twirling around his finger . "Hey Tiara, You look great tonight" he says. "Thanks and so do you" I giggle. "Do you think maybe we can go someplace quiet and talk ?" He shouts hinting that the music is too loud. "Sure, lead the way." I say. I'm very unsure about it but We need to talk and clear the awkwardness between us. We walk outside to a courtyard area. "Look about earlier-" "It's fine" , I cut him off. "Can we at least be friends ?" he asks unsure. "I guess but I don't want to interfere with your relationship" . We talk for a while, laughing from time to time. Cameron really is an interesting person. Then all of a sudden I hear "Hey babe I have been looking for you everywhere" , speak of the devil, it's Amber. "Hey Amber" Cameron shouts. "Hey Newbie I didn't know you were invited to this party" , "My name is Tiara and yeah, listen I don't want any conflict between us because I don't even know you". "Well there isn't any want to get a drink with me ?" She asks and Cameron walks away. "Sure" I say as she leads me to another mini bar. Amber orders the drink and I see her talking to the bartender , before she hands me the drink I see her wipe her hand over the glass, I'm sure it's nothing. "Here ya go, a Vodka shot, let's toast to new friends". We toast and I down the shot. I've never actually drunk alcohol before this party. I wander back to the dance floor and find Nat grinding all up on Shane. I feel lightheaded and woosy. Its probably just a buzz. I start dancing and feel myself becoming weightless as I dance. It feels like I'm about to pass out. Suddenly everything goes black.
