"I have been peaceful. I have been kind..." The words rang out clearly from the mutant troll who hung by his cuffs. HIghBloods hushed as he spoke, cruel, taunting sneers tugging at their lips.
"I only dare to speak what others have been dreaming for so long. I had dreams too. Dreams of what might have been." The troll lifted his head to gaze calmly at his mother as jaden tears stained her cheeks. His face was blank as his eyes than sweep around the room. Disciple, Psiioniic, Dolorosa...All had followed him, and now all shall pay the price for doing so. "Where blood was simply blood. And all of us were equal. If wishing for that is herricy, then "yes" I deserve to die." The Grand HIghBlood twirled his club, scowling down at the scene, Darkleer preparing to shoot on The Condesce's signal.

"I've seen acts of the most sublime kindness, and the most vile cruelty. They say powerful beings find anger when they have no room for love. What made you so? Are you scared of change? Scared of those who are different?" The mutant snarled, his calm fascade hanging by a thin thread. "I realize, I am different from you. I have known feelings that none of you can ever hope to know. I have known the comrodery of a friend who supported me against all odds. I have known a compassion of a guardian who took me in who no others would, and raised me to dream and hope. I have known a love and passion that transcended definition." Disciple wept as she held the cloth she managed to take from her dying Matespirit, candy red blood staining it. How cruel this was, didn't anyone else realise that?

His voice quietened slightly, voices snickering from all around him. They mocked him, laughed at him. He wasn't worth anything to them it seemed. "There is no use hiding it now...You all can see me for what I am! The Signless, the Sufferer, the mutant. My blood burns brightly for all to see. It is a flame of a revolution that you cannot ever hope to quell." The snickers turned into laughter, booming in his ears. The pain that burned through him greatened as he straightened as much as his frail body would allow, Anger was billowing below his surface.

"My memory can be erased, but my idles will never die. My mistake was believing that I could change a world infected by hate and corruption. You have taken the freedom of an innocent troll and turned his blessings into a CURSE." A smirk filled The Condesce's lips as he spoke. His words were nothing. At least, not at this time. "The pity you've taken on my disciple will wound her. She has known true love and you forced her to a life of solitude! Forced a mother to watch her son DIE! I see you for what you are...I've always FUCKING HAVE! I THOUGHT I COULD FUCKING CHANGE YOU! FUCK ME FOR BEING A FUCKING FOOL!" Candy red blooded troll was roaring out his words now, arms pulling against his chains. The burns deepening onto his skin as he did.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUCK...fuck." He repeated the word countless times, tears freely running down his cheeks. His followers were stunned into silence, never once hearing their leader speak such as that before.

"I am angry...Because I forgive you...I may be the biggest fucking fool on Alternia...But when I close my eyes I see a world where we all work together. And it so fucking...Beautiful." His eyes met Dolorosa's, a sad smile on his lips. This was his time it seemed. The light being extinguished by that of hateful darkness. Neophyte Redglare's hand tightened on her cane as her blind eyes gazed at Signless. At that same moment, Condesce lowered her trident.

The signal...

The shoot...

The death...

The reimbursing of the dream...

In life, the troll was known as Signless.

In death, The Sufferer.

He had tried to show other's what he knew, only to die in the end for such knowledge.

If only they had listened...
