I've finally recovered. I discovered that the group I was with, the people who saved me, were scientists. These people were rare underground. I can see why though. Are they here on the same mission as me? Could be...
I looked at Elena as she was working on something she called a computer. She furiously typed away while she furrowed her brows. It was kinda cute... wait what? What am I thinking? Snap out of it.
I asked what she was doing before she stopped and looked at me. Throughout this month she never showed any emotion so I was surprised to see the look on her face. It was one of frustration and curiosity. I tilted my head before she told me to stop staring at her before she turned back to do what she was doing. She didn't say anything and she didn't answer my question. Oh well...
I'm recovered. I'm gonna have to say my thanks and leave this place soon.
"You don't have to leave." I heard Elena say before I looked at her. "You don't need to live underground like a mole. You can stay here with us."
This is a first. A chance to stay up on the surface... but what about the people underground? Sure the air is toxic but these guys are working on cleaning it out. I'm just gonna stop thinking right now... I looked at Elena and told her that I'd stay. Not sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me or not because I saw Elena's lips crack into a small smile.
I'll be back if I can. End of entry.
