Prologue

Long ago, two races ruled over earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS.

One day war broke out between the two races.

After a long battle, the HUMANS were victorious.

They sealed the MONSTERS underground with a magic spell.

Many Centuries later...

Ebott Town 2019

"Jake! Stop fidgeting and listen to the story!" Yelled his babysitter, Janet.

"But it's boooooring!" Complained Jake, sprawling out onto the floor.

"Jake! Behave! Or no chocolate after dinner!" She threatened.

"What?!?!?!?! Fine, I'll behave!" He answered crossly.

But I still want that chocolate. He thought.

"You'd better!" She threatened, picking the book back up.

Man this is boring! "Blah!" Oh! Actually this sounds interesting!"

"And then Geoff was never seen again. The End." Janet finished the story.

Jake was lost in thought. What was down there? Was he actually never seen again? Is he alive? Or dead? Is Geoff even real? So many questions flooding his mind!

"JAKE! JAKE! LISTEN TO ME! JAKE! LISTEN!!! Janet was screaming at him.

"Sorry Janet!!!" Jake quickly answered.

He'd zoned out again. How embarrassing. He thought.

"As I was saying, do you want to go for a walk?" Asked Janet.

"Yes please!!!" said Jake enthusiastically.

"Ooh! Let's walk up Mount Ebott!" He said.

"I don't think it's safe..." Murmured Janet.

"Please???"

"Why? You know it's not safe!"

"That's why I want to!"

"Really? Are you serious?"

"One-Hundred percent!"

Janet sighed. "Fine..."

"Yippy!!!" Jack ran to the front door to get ready.

MT. EBOTT

"Remember, Jake don't run too far away! Janet called after him as he started running up the path to the top.

"Don't worry, I won't!" Jake called back.

All of a sudden, out of the corner of his eye, he saw another child, a girl, then all of a sudden she disappeared "Wait!" He yelled to her, but with no answer. Where did she go? I need to investigate. He thought. "Hey! Where are you? I promise I'm nice!" he went closer to the top of the mountain to investigate. But to his horror, he started falling into the giant hole that he hadn't even seen. This is how I die. He thought. Because i didn't listen.

"NO!" yelled someone above him "You are not going down there!" Jake stopped falling as a hand grabbed him. "We are going home!" said the voice. "Janet?" "Yes?" she replied. "A little girl fell down." Jake whimpered. "WHAT?!" Janet's phone seemed to fly out of her pocket. "911! A girl has fallen down a large hole on Mount Ebott! Please come immediately!" A few minutes later they heard sirens. "Where is this hole?" The police officer asked. Jake pointed to the hole. "How long ago did she fall?" The officer continued asking Janet questions. Will she be ok? Jake asked this question in his head.
