The Carnival

Lexie/Cole carnival

Me and Cole were getting ready to go out for a date at the carnival. i was uber excited because I love carnivials. Since it was summer,i wore blue denim shorts and a white ruffly tank top,with white converse and a cute white bow in your hair to top it all off. I was all set except for my make-up. I would be done by now but of course Cole was hogging the bathroom. I waited for Cole to come out so I can apply my make-up. Cole finally came out to get dressed and I went in to do my make-up. Just for cole to come straight back in and take my make up. "What was that for?" i asked. "You look better without it ." He said with a wink and a kiss to my cheek."You ready to go?" He asked. "As ready as I'll ever be." I said reply,smiling. The drive to the carnival had a comfortable silence. Cole was holding your hand while driving the whole time,occasionally kissing it. The drive wasn't very long and soon we was there.Cole won me a stuffed bear in one of the games. We then ate a few carnival snacks and walked around talking until he suggested,"Hey,you want to go on the Ferris Wheel?" I said yes but I was a little scared. I always did have a fear of heights. Cole must have saw the look of fear in my eyes as i death glared the Ferris Wheel while walking towards it. He then grabbed for my hand and whispered in my ear,"There's nothing to be afraid of. I'm with you every step along the way." I smiled at him,still a little scared. When we reached the line with the rest of the group,i started to get even more scared,I started making excuses. "I have a fever." You said. Cole felt your head,"You seem fine to me." "Uhh...I'm claustrophobic." "There's only gonna be two people per seat." Cole said. "I'm allergic to Ferris Wheels." "I highly doubt that." Cole replied. "...I only have 24 hours to live." "You can spend 5 minutes of that 24 hours on the Ferris Wheel with me." Cole said. 5 minutes of countless excuses later,we reached the front of the line and was about to be seated. I took my seat with Cole on the Ferris Wheel and i started to tense up again. "I'm gonna die,I'm gonna die,I'm gonna die,Oh boy..." I whispered under your breath.Cole heard me,held my hand and kissed it. "Everything will be okay ." "What if a bolt goes loose? What if the ride gets stuck? What if a random bomb flies out of nowhere and ambushes us?!"Cole chuckled and kissed my hand gently. "You over-exaggerate way too much." "Hey,it could happen! The world is messed up nowadays!" "Just calm down,everything will be okay,I'll be here with you. We can conquer your fear together." He kissed my hand one more time. I took a deep breath as the ride began to start. "I can do this." I said as i held Cole hand. He squeezed it gently. Once we reached the top,i started to silently panic butCold squeezed your hand and said,"It's alright love,nothing will happen." As if he was a jinx,The ride got stuck. I slowly turned to him,"Nothing will happen,huh?" "I find that just a huge coincidence." "Sure..."I say. I soon panicked again and Cole tried to calm me down.Me and Cole hung out on the ride and talked so I can get my mind off of the ride.i started to feel better and I got over my fear alittle. Couple of minutes later,the ride started working again and as soon as l reached the ground,i ran off screaming,"I'M ALIVE!" Cole followed close behind,smiling at me. All in all,I have to say my carnival date was pretty fun.
