Carter woke up to yelling nothing out of the ordinary this happened everyday since his brother had passed. Since then his mother has turned to drinking and His dad turned to drugs he had also became really abusive so had his mother they never really coped after his death neither did Carter but someone had to be strong and that someone might be him.

He got out of bed and went to go brush his teeth and wash his face after he was done he picked out his clothes for the day he tried to find something without holes and something that didn't smell like crap but that was hard. 

After he was done getting dressed he walked to the kitchen to find something to eat he opened the fridge there was nothing "Not like I was expecting something to be in here anyway" he mumbled.

He got his bag and attempted to walk out the door " Where the hell are you going" his mother asked he looked at her an was not surprised to see she had two empty bottles of whiskey right next to her " To school ma where else"   "Don't get smart with me boy" she yelled as she threw a bottle at he   " I'M SORRY I'M SORRY" he yelled as he barely missed getting hit in the face "GO ON BEFORE I DO SOMETHING YOU WILL REGRET"   "Yes ma'am" 

Again this was just a normal start to the day for him and he hated it.

Mason woke up to someone jumping on him "Emily stop" he laughed out as his little sister kept on jumping on him " Mom said to wake you up for breakfast so that is what I'm doing" " Okay okay I'm awake" she laughed and ran out of the room Mason could here her yelling "MOM HE IS AWAKE NOW" he just chuckled and started getting ready for school.

You would think that he would be used to this already since it happens almost everyday but it never gets old.

After he was done with his usual morning routine he walked down stairs and was immediately hit was the smell of pancakes and bacon he heard his stomach growl and ran to sit down and dig in " Are you ready for try out's son" his dad asked " Yeah I don't know why I wouldn't make the cut, coach even talked about making me Captain of the team"  "That's really good Mason" His mom said putting bacon on his plate. 

As he was walking out the door he heard" Mason can you drive your sister to school I have a meeting this morning and can't do it"  " Sure mom EMILY HURRY UP I'M DRIVING YOU TO SCHOOL I DON'T WANT TO BE LATE"   he yelled  "Jeez I'm coming no need to yell" he just laughed and walked out the door while telling his parents he loved them

After he dropped his sister off at school he walked into his own school being greeted by his friends and his girlfriend Sarah who was the Leader of the Cheer team and the most beautiful girl in school.

"Mason our 2 year is coming up" she cooed as he leaned up against the lockers  " I know baby I already have something planed for us" he said " oooo I'm excited" she said leaning in to kiss him

Carter walked into the hell hole called school and was already dreading it and if the day could get any worse it just did, when he saw the leading Quarterback Mason Hill and his girlfriend Sarah Middlebrook ugh he hated both of them so much they both had everything he had but was taken away from him in the blink of an eye.

So into his thoughts he wasn't paying attention to were he was going and bumped into something more like someone that someone just so happened to be the school bully Alex "The dick" as everyone who was ever bullied by him called him never to his face though unless they wanted to roll over and die " Watch where your going fag"  he yelled Carter just nodded his head and attempted to walk away " What can't talk" Carter said nothing "ANSWER ME DAMNIT" " s-s-sorry it w-won't happen a-again" he whispered  "I-it better not" he said then leaned down really slow to his ear and said" unless you want die just like your brother" then he walked off not without punching him first just to be a dick.

 Carter replayed his last words over and over again in his head and before he knew it he was starting to have an anxiety attack he couldn't breath he tried to do grounding like his therapist once said but it wasn't working, right when he was about to pass out

" Hey are you okay!"

Fact 1: Emily is 10

Fact 2: They are in 11th grade

Fact 3: Carter isn't gay (Or so he says)
