I stood there with a surprise expression on my face. My whole fucking family was here.

"Heyyyyy honeyyy." My mom said trying to hug me.

"Hi mom." I said plainly dodging her hug. I really didn't want to see my mom or my dad at the moment. They both can kiss my ass.

"Where's Rome?" My mom asked looking around.

"Ma, me and Rome are getting a divorce." I said.

"What?!" My mom and dad both said. "Sira how could you let this happen!?" She shouted capturing everybody's attention.

"Ma, I am a grown woman. I can pick and choose who I want to marry. Not you." I said boldly.

"What's wrong with him? He was perfect for you." My dad asked, faking like he was concerned.

"No, he was rich and stable. That's not perfect. I found somebody who loves me for me." I said trying to get them to understand where im coming from.

"And who is this "somebody" ?" She asked with a disgusted look.

Odell came and stood beside me. He hugged my waist and kissed my cheek as my parents stood there looking disgusted.

"I think im about to faint" my mom said dramatically as she looked around for a seat. My father helped her sit down.

"Are you forreal right now? You're really acting dramatic right now just stop. Im not about to keep letting you run my life I am grown as fuck. Now I would like it if you all get outta my house right now" I said getting loud so everybody could hear me.

Everybody started pouring out the house as Khadijia, Odell, my mom and dad stayed.

"I meant everybody" I said turning back towards my mom and dad.

"Sira, honey, baby, please just think about what you're doing" my mom said.

"Right" someone said walking in my house. Really?

I turned around and saw Rome coming in and closing the door behind him. The fuck?

"What the fuck" I said throwing my hands up.

Odell laughed shaking his head as everybody turned their attention on him.

"Damn" he stopped laughing noticing that they were staring.

"What a disgrace" my father said.

"Stop it" I said.

"No! You need to realize that you're making a very big mistake Sira, think about this, that is your true husband right there" she pointed at Rome. I just looked at him as he said nothing.

I turned back to my mom, "You are really outta your mind lady!" We started arguing as my father chimed in. Rome started up an argument with Odell but I payed no attention to that. It turned into a big commotion.

"SHUTUP! Please got damn!" Khadijia said as everybody got quiet.

"Yall all are outta yall minds, look you can't run her life anymore! She's not gonna let you keep doing this to her! She's been thru hell and back with this man. He put his hands on her and cheated multiple times. He isnt faithful and he damn sholl don't love her so please just let her be" she said.

My mother got up snatching her purse. She walked past me and stopped at the door.

"Do not contact me anymore, neither do you Khadijia." she said putting her shades on then walking out with my dad right behind her. Rome walked up to me about to say something but stopped in his tracks. He just turned around walking out shaking his head at me. I rolled my eyes at him as the door closed. Peace. Finally.
