Chapter 1 (SFTB)

Chapter 1:

~ Athena's POV ~

Ring ring...

'Ugh.. what time is it Mr clock? why are you waking me up again? there is no way I'm going to get up..'

'Well, you should, because it's your first day of your senior year.. wanna be late for school li'l sis?''

Mr clock?! you are talking?! since when?! and you're my brother?

'Stop being a fool, Athena.' My brother Brike is here. 'Get up and prepare for school you're gonna be late'..

'Yes dad! I said sarcastically. Unless  you carry me downstairs. I said in a nervous tone.'

'Of course I will with an extra promo!!' he tickled me until there is tears forming in my eyes. Because of our noise mom scolded us and called us for breakfast. I took a quick bath and wear my thick sweater, simple jeans and a pair of converse.

I went downstairs immediately, as my younger sister, Daisy drag me to the living room to see her new doll.

'Athena! look at my new doll'. 'her name is Tiffany'! Daisy is 5 years old she didn't even reach our dad alive. When I sat on the couch I remembered some memories of my father. My father and I are usually the close-type thing. My father always take me to the park and buy me new dolls. He died when my mom is about to give birth to Daisy. Well, it's so sad that she didn't have memories with dad.

'Athena! Why are you crying?! Did we do something wrong?' She exclaimed. I immediately stop talking to my self and listen to her.'We'? I asked. Yah me and Tiph. 'Oh, I'm fine' I said while wiping my wet cheeks.

Athena! you're gonna be late for school! My mom yelled. OK mom. I answered politely.

At school: 

I hopped out the car's door and walk towards the school gate.'Athena'! I heard a shout from my back. I turned my head towards her direction. 'Hey NICs'! 'how are you'? 'did you enjoy your vacation in California'? I asked her curiously. She looked at me and smiled.'Uh nothing interesting'. She answered with a deep voice. 'How about you'? she continued. 'Yeah my summer is pretty nice with my cousins'. and I glared at her.

'But--..My mom wants me to start working with the Smiths'.. I told her in a low-pitch.

(*I know that Nicole has a crush on Antoni since freshmen year.. I just told her about this, so that she wouldn't be jealous*))

Her eyes widened with her eyebrows raised, and with that look i know that she's waiting for me to say something.

Hmm! Will you work with him?

uh y--ah... I replied with guilt.

*The bell rang*

#At the locker

Ugh why did I even tell her?! Stupid me! I grab my stuff and ran to my first subject which is algebra..

Nicole sat beside me and smile I'm just pulling your leg a while ago. I'm not mad at you! She raised her pinky and said 'Sisters before Misters'!!

and I hugged her..

Good morning class! Im Mr Jones your teacher in algebra. We  stood up greeted him as well.

All of a sudden, Antoni entered the room with his hair waxed and he's wearing a crumpled shirt which other girls find it hot.

Antoni sat beside his gang so- called the 'Bullians' I really laugh so hard pronouncing it.

Yuck! Antoni flirting with other girls again but he's so gorgeous!!!... 'Why am I even saying this'! I hate you Smith! I'll never ever fall in love with you!! I think all of the people in Evans high have a crush on him except me coz I'm immune..

'Athena'! Nicole tapped me hard.

What! I exclaimed.  Ms Anderson, kindly sit beside Mr smith be sure to tame him. He said laughingly.

I stood up and bid Nicole a goodbye handshake. I grab my 'hello kitty' back pack and sat beside this stupid bully.  I just noticed that most of the girls are staring at me as if I'm a criminal. I rolled my eyes at them and listen to Mr Jones  quietly.

Okay class! get a quiz paper we'll have a pop quiz. Mr Jones  said while getting a piece of paper under his table.

Antoni's eyes widened also our classmates. I think they're not just used in pop quizzes, I said talking to my subconscious.

Finally, we finished all the items and the teacher checked quickly.

Class! Only Ms Anderson and Mr Smith got a perfect score!

'Yeah'! his friends shouted.

'Got a perfect score huh'? he whispered.

uh y--. he just talked to me.. is it my dream *I kept on imagining*

'slow! I  don't care!' he said mockingly.

'Ugh that's why I really hate him'!!! curse you Smith!! >:)

*the bell rang*

'Attention! There is new transferee of Evans high, Ms Natalie Blu and Ms Ella Evans'.

'Hey are you thinking what I'm thinking'? Nichole asked. 'Uh n--no'!

'What are you thinking? I replied seriously. 'Those girls that are just announce could be be our friends and besides we're not cruel as they are'..*pointing out the 'Pepeshees'*

The 'Peepshes' are the group of popular- mean girls in school. All of them have the power to rule Evans high.

*At the canteen with Nicole:

Hey Athena! Nicole is keep on talking while I'm enjoying my fries.  Yes? I humbly asked. Uh do we need to invite the newly-transfered students for lunch?

Sure,if you want to!!! I glared at their table and nodded my head twice at Nicole.
