Pennywise ain't Pennywise. It is more of just a general evil lurking beneath Derry, stemming from one place in the sewers (just like Pennywise's little lair). When It appears, It often does so as a dark mist or simply a voice. Because, let's be real, a clown? Really? I'm pretty sure a lot of drugs went into that decision.

The way It works is a little different; It returns every 15 years (for the sake of the timeline), and when It appears, It feeds for as long as It needs to, usually a few years rather than just one.

Here are the triggers that will show up in many or most of the chapters, or that are crucial to the plot. Thus, they will not be listed at the beginnings of chapters. Don't read this book at all if these are a problem for you.

- homophobia (internal and external)

Bill and Beverly? Not a thing. We ship Benverly in this household. But we love Bill and we won't make him sad about Beverly so Bill just never liked her in the first place. 🤷‍♂️

There's tiny bit of Stanlon. Because I love Stanlon (also I love Stan, Bill, AND Mike together, and hanlon is where it's AT, but that ain't in this book lol).

Eddie's pills are fake, but his asthma medicine is real. He does have mild issues with asthma, but it's mostly a self-induced thing from panic rather than an uncontrollable physical occurrence, you know?

The chapters are numbered in French (un, deux, trois).

We stan teenage Richie with braces!!! Cute!!!! It's not important but I imagine him with braces in this book!!

okay so. looking back in late 2020. i haven't been on wattpad in forever, but recently i've been thinking about these books and i have sumn to say. first of all, i don't like the writing lmao. but the main point is the smut. i'm an afab enby, i'm not a gay man. the fact that i was into writing smut between gay men, especially as it was only these overdone skinny white boy ships, is problematic, in my opinion. thus, i've removed the smut from all of my books. i'm sorry if you were looking forward to it, but i don't want to contribute to the problem of fetishizing gay men on the internet that is already so prevalent. thank you.

Just wanted to say, this book was so interesting to write!! It's not just a romance, I feel like. I actually got to kind of write a plot that reddie is intertwined into? It was fun as hell. Hope you enjoy it!!!
