Megan's heart was beating out of control. Kitty had intertwined their fingers and was pulling Megan through the house. Kitty didn't let go until they were standing in front of the glass doors to the office.
"Here we are. Don't judge me," Kitty chuckled as she opened the doors and revealed Megan's worst nightmare.
There was paper everywhere. Empty boxes upon empty boxes littered the room. Some boxes were full and had the word 'Donate' written in black sharpie on the top and the sides.
Megan audibly gasped as her eyes became huge. "Oh my lord," Megan mumbled.
Kitty heard and let out a loud laugh. "Hey, I said don't judge!"
"I'm not, judging, really, I'm just, shocked," Megan spoke slowly, taking in the scene around her.
"Well, I did warn you, kind of," Kitty chuckled.
Megan nodded and stepped in. She could make out the furniture in the room. A long Dark Oak desk with a laptop, a wireless keyboard, a wireless mouse, two monitors, a set of speakers, a printer, and a tower behind the two monitors. Megan turned to her right and saw what supposed to be a sitting area. A gray couch, a marble coffee table, two matching marble end tables, and a white book shelf to the right of the couch on the wall by the doors. A Puzzle shelf was right in front of the doors. It had pictures of Charlie and Kitty, more pictures of Charlie, and One picture of all of them, Charlie, Kitty, and Mr. Truss. Austin Truss, Kitty Truss, and Charlotte Truss was printed in script font on the bottom.
Upon closer inspection, Mr. Truss wasn't smiling. In fact he look quite annoyed to be taking a family photo. Charlie was being held by Kitty and both were laughing. Megan looked away and focused on the mess. "Okay, first things first, the boxes, since that is a good 90 percent of the mess. Empty ones get broken down and taken to the garage for storage for later use, and these donate boxes?" Megan said, the last part of her sentence turned into more of a question than a statement.
"Oh those are Charlies old clothes that she can't fit, My old clothes, and some of Austin's old suits," Kitty said, counting off on her fingers. "Oh! And some old shoes that are still in good shape."
"Okay! So your clothes and Mr. Truss's clothes should go to Clothes Mentor as I'm sure they were very nice. Charlie's I would say take to The Children's Place. I'd split up the shoes accordingly as well if they haven't already been." Megan said. "I can take Charlie's stuff to The Children's Place on my way home as I pass it on the way," Megan told Kitty.
"Oh Okay, and I'll take the other things to the other store." Kitty could see that Megan was in work mode and solemnly obliged to help.
Both women loaded up the boxes according to who was going to take what. Megan broke down the empty boxes and Kitty put them in the garage in the storage unit. Megan then looked at Kitty in a very serious manner. "Okay, What is the deal with the papers?" Megan asked.
"Oh, mostly just junk mail and old crafts from Charlie. Some though, I do need to keep as they are for work," Kitty mentally breathed a sigh of relief that it was just that.
"Okay, separate your work stuff so I don't throw those away. I'm going to make two piles on the table. One for old crafts, and one for the junk so I know what to throw away. From there we are going to separate what you want to keep from Charlie's crafts, and what you don't mind getting rid of," Megan explained.
"Megan, how many times have you done this?" Kitty was amazed at the knowledge and the demanding nature of this young girl.
"I do this for a living!" Megan laughed. They set to work on the task and soon the place was looking immaculate. Megan was very satisfied with her work.
She sat down on the love seat and kicked off her flip flops. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and let out a long, airy sigh.
"This was amazing," Kitty said. Megan felt the air beside her shift, assuming that meant Kitty had sat down beside her. "I've never seen someone take control like that to get things done so accurately and quickly! That took no time at all," Kitty was astonished.
"Like I said, I do this for a living. When you already like doing something, then it's even easier," Megan, still with her eyes shut, smiled a little bit.
"Why in the world would you like doing work like that?" Kitty was perplexed.
Megan sat up, uncrossed her legs, and turned her body toward Kitty. She looked at Kitty deeply and smiled the most sincere smile she had ever given someone. "I love satisfying people," Megan's voice was raspy. "I love seeing the pleased, satisfied look on people's faces once a job is done. I love being able to bring them peace and relaxation. I'm good with my hands, so why not put them to use. I do that with massages as well," Megan completed her statement.
Kitty was taken aback. Megan had never been this blunt with her and it excited her. Kitty was stuck at the 'good with her hands' part. Kitty couldn't take it anymore. Austin was out of town, Charlie was gone for the weekend, and this beautiful, smart, powerful young girl was practically begging. The assertive look in Megan's eyes just drew Kitty to her more.
"Megan, you seem to always know what you want," Kitty said as she placed a hand on Megan's thigh.
Megan nodded, the skin where Kitty's hand was resting was heating up, a pleasant burning sensation that radiated all the way up to Megan's most sensitive places.
Megan could feel her nipples start to peak and press against the thin fabric of her sports bra, the stainless steel rods going through the nipples exciting her even more.
