Traveling

The following Monday Nikki has just arrived at London Heathrow with her small travel bag and her Louis Vuitton suitcase in tow, She pays the taxi driver and heads into the airport and looks at her phone to see Jack has texted her 'I am in Caffè Nero, want anything?' Nikki places her phone back in her pocket and walks towards the Caffè Nero and instantly notices Jack with a small black suitcase, nothing quite as designer as Nikki, Jack also has a small bum bag on his hip with his usual blue puffer jacket covering it slightly. 

Jack looks Nikki up and down and then smirks, "I didn't realize we were going designer suitcases now if you had given me the memo we could have matched" Jack chuckles winding his pretend girlfriend up. 

Nikki rolls her eyes at him, "I've got to look like you spoil me so your parents buy the whole thing" She replies. 

He chuckles and hands her a cup of liquid substance that Nikki instantly recognizes as coffee, "Thanks" She smiles and sips her coffee, "You've got the tickets right?" She asks as they slowly make their way to the check-in area. 

"Yes, I have. Don't you get worrying" Jack smiles as they lift their cases onto the conveyer belt, the check-in assistant tags them both with a tag for Belfast International Airport.

Two hours later Jack and Nikki have arrived in Belfast, they both head out the airport with their suitcases and Jack stands to the side and looks down at his phone, "So we need to get a taxi to County Antrim, Ballyclare... oh it seems Mum and Dad have moved once again" Jack mutters to himself while Nikki crouches down and opens up her suitcase, pulling out a coat to keep herself warm.
"Okay, well can we hurry and get a taxi, I'm freezing" She replies rubbing her hands together frantically. 

Jack slips his phone back into his pocket and looks at Nikki before they walk to the taxi area, he speaks to one of the drivers who allow their fair and takes them to Jack's parent's house. An hour later they arrive outside a house which is rather large and has clearly had a lot of renovation work on it. "Well, this is it" Jack smiles awkwardly at Nikki. 

They both get out of the taxi and grab their suitcases, Jack pays the Taxi driver and the make their way up to the front door. "Don't forget you're my so-called Girlfriend now" Jack smirks. 
Nikki rolls her eyes and adjusts her jacket, "You owe me big time!" She replies as she rolls her suitcase up to the front door. 

Jack knocks the front door and rings the doorbell, they hear a few dogs start to bark, "give me your hand" Jack says as he looks at Nikki. 
"No, that is weird, they will be onto us in a heartbeat" Nikki replies. 

He chuckles and nods before his Mum opens the door and greets them with open arms, "Jack!" Ruth smiles and pulls Jack into a hug, she then pulls away from Jack and looks across at Nikki. "Gosh Jack, she's even prettier in real life" She smiles causing Nikki to blush immediately. 

Ruth pulls Nikki into a tight hug and Nikki makes a sound almost like Ruth has just winded her, Once she pulls away and lets Nikki go she welcomes them into the house. Jack and Nikki head into the house and carry their cases in, one of the three dogs his parents own runs straight up to Jack and jump him. Jack places his case down and begins to fuss the dog, "Hello you" Jack chuckles as he fusses the fully grown golden labrador. "No way is this Molly, Ma!" Jack beams happily to see the dog he hasn't seen in three years since she was a puppy. 

Two smaller golden labradors bound up to Jack and bark at him, "Yes it is... these are the two pups we kept from her litter earlier this year, Coco and Ted" Ruth smiles as Nikki watches Jack who has been dived on by the three dogs. 

"Got any pets?" Ruth chuckles.
"No" Nikki smiles watching Jack.
"Nikki is to house proud" Jack smirks and looks up at her. 

Ruth smiles and takes their coats from them once Jack has finished fussing the dogs. Jack and Nikki then both head upstairs to put their cases in the room they are going to share. "Oh..." Nikki says as soon as they walk into their room. 

She looks at the double bed and around the room, "What?" Jack says lifting his case onto the bed.
"I thought there would be single beds" Nikki replies as she hauls her case onto the chair and unzips it. 
"Nik, don't forget she thinks we're together which means we share a bed. Look if it's what you want I shall crash on the floor while we're here" Jack smiles happily at her. 

"Thank you..." She hesitates and looks down at the floor which is wooden, "Are you going to be comfortable though?" Nikki questions. 

Jack also looks down at the floor and nods, "I shall be fine" He replies half-heartedly wishing he could share the rather large double bed with Nikki, even if there was a few pillows dividing them.
