By using her own energy, she is able to use her breath to heal wounds, injuries and cure certain poisons. The amount of energy she needs to use depends on the severity of the wound that she is trying to heal. Although not necessarily forbidden, she is highly advised to stay away from reattaching limbs and bringing 'life' to a dying part of the body, basically any crucial wound that can cause death. If she uses too much energy, she will end up collapsing, and if she does try to 'heal' someone who is on the very brink of death, she will exhaust herself severely which can lead to a comatose state or possibly death.
Bio:
Yui is a cheerful girl, who tries her best to bring smiles and aid to people. As a child, Yui grew up with a kind family, a quirkless mom who works as a pharmaceutical scientist, and a dad who worked as a hero. Her mom was incredibly smart, and went to UA to study in the General Education department, later on becoming a pharmaceutical scientist to help find out new medicine to help humankind. Her mother has had many discoveries in medicine and was even asked by Recovery Girl to help her find medicine that could heal people that won't require her to kiss her patient (LOL). Her mother and met her father through UA and dated, married and had her. Because of her quirk, Yui also grew close to helping with healing, medication and the sort. She helped run errands for her mother's pharmacy when she turned 10. Most of her studying was done via homeschooling, since her family -namely her mother- decided that it was fit for their little girl to be homeschooled so they can advance her studies. By the time her highschool day arrived, she was completely advanced to the point where she could take her first year under apprenticeship. So she applied for an apprenticeship under Recovery Girl.
Her life changed when her father was severely injured at the job, rendering his legs and left arm useless, leading to retirement of being a hero. He spends his days recovering at the hospital. This injury lead to Yui's determination on becoming a hero like Recovery Girl, as she promised her father.
