Chapter Eight.

*Hallie's pov.*

I woke up in a bright lighted room. I seen tony and Jaime on the chairs, wait, why am I here in the first place?

'Turtle, what am I doing here?' I say, and he looks at me.

'You sleepwalked down the steps and broke your leg.' He says and I look down at my foot, it was covered in orange hard cast stuff.

'I'm an idiot.' I say. 'And my foot hurts.'

~Time skip: a day later.~

I was aloud to go home, but I had to use crutches, and these things suck. Mostly everyone did things for me, like sapphire, she would make me food, Azalee would do my chores, and carter would get me anything.

'Listen fart, I'm tired.' I say to Jaime, so he picks me up and takes me to my bed, placing me in, kisses my head, and then I drift off to sleep.

~day later.~

I was able to walk on it, and I had a boot on my leg. Yaay. Carter was coming over with kellin, Alexander was with his gram.

'Hime, can you grab me the brownie mix?' I ask my brother, he nods and hands me the box.

'Okay, get me the veg oil, two eggs, and a bowl.' He gets everything and puts it on the table, I mixed everything and looked at it for a minute, I decided to just eat the batter more than put it in the oven, I got a big spoon, and ate spoon fulls of the batter.

'Where's my brownies?' Mike asks.

'I ate the batter.' I say, and he looks at me with a pout.

'Sorry bubba, luhh you.' I say with a spoon full of mix in my mouth. He chuckles and walks away.

I cleaned up the bowl and sat in the living room, turned on the TV to some dumb show. I sat and watched it until I heard a knock at the door, it was carter and Kellin. They walked in and carter looked mad.

'Babe I told you we had to go on tour, I'm sorry.' Kellin says.

'Whatever Kellin. Hallie, how is your foot?' She asks.

'Better, I gotta boot on it.' I say, she smiles.

'Good, we're going shopping, let's go.' She says, and drags Azalee and I out of the door and into Kellins car.
