"Disgusting!" Vera exclaimed, horrified by the long, slimy worm that wriggles its way around Emma's garden.
"Its just a worm, nothing to be afraid about." Emma said calmly as she picks the last remaining flowers for the bouquet Vera had ask for.
"I came for flowers and flowers only!" Vera complained.
"But you like spiders! Spiders, of all bugs! What harm can a worm do?" Emma remarked, delicately placing the bouquet in Vera's hands while doing so.
"Plus why do you even like spiders anyway?" The gardener questioned.
It never really occurred to Vera of why she was disgusted by any other type of bug, but likes spiders, the ones who most people in the manor are terrified of.
"I dont really know myself, probably because they're more elegant?" Vera answered, unsure of her own answer as well.
"Lets head back inside, looks like its about to rain." Emma pointed to the dark, gray looking clouds forming above.
"Agreed." Vera said as they both walk back inside the manor.
Emma stopped in the hall, making Vera stumble backwards and fall, landing safely thanks to her thick dress.
"What the!? Why did you do that.." The anger in Vera's voice trailing off each word she spoke as she saw what stopped Emma.
"Hey Vi!" Emma waved her hands happily at the female hunter; Violetta or as the survivors call her, Soul weaver.
Violetta waved her mechanical leg at the girls before walking past them.
"Maybe thats why.." Vera whispered as she pulled herself back up "I like them." She finishes, her eyes following the huge mechanical spider thats walking away.
"Huh? What did you say?" Emma asked as she cutely spins her body to face Vera, sort of tripping in the process.
"Nothing, its nothing." Vera says not amused.
"I'll be leaving now." Vera said before walking off.
"Um Vera," Emma told, successfully stopping Vera in her tracks once again.
"Yes?" Vera replied, not even bothered to look at Emma.
"Thats the h-hunters side, our side is at the left." Emma said as she pointed out the signs that are labeled to see which side you're heading too above them.
