A hand catches hers. "Mother, that is enough abuse for the day. Maybe that's why father left you." Theo smirks as he jerks Lucella's hand away from my face. He faces me, both cheeks sporting matching red marks. "Are you alright, my blossom?" Theo is still topless.
I run to him and bury my face in his chest. "You... you stood up for me. You allowed her... your mother... to abuse you for me." I inhale his scent. I fill the air around me with nothing other than his scent and his words. I don't want anything else in this world other than to be by Theo's side.
He embraces me tightly against his perfectly toned bare chest. "All is well. Do not panic nor cry. I will protect you as a loyal lover should. Do not worry about a thing. George and I will protect you. What would calm you down?" Theo puts a finger under my chin and brings my gaze up to meet his.
"I don't know. What would you like to do?" My eyes cloud over with uncertainty. I do not know what this future holds. I don't want to go back to the present time. I want to remain in 1813 with my sweet Theodore who is alive. I know our troubles aren't over, but I want to remain in this peaceful moment for as long as I can.
Anne is gone, but many other enemies remain.
Theo kisses me before locking our gazes once again. He then, leans so that his lips are beside my ear and whispers, "Turn me. Please do it now."
I freeze at his words for a few heartbeats before taking his hand and dragging him upstairs to the Master Bedroom.
It is time for me to carry out my given task.
This one moment will change the future for better... or worse.
I know I have more to do than just turn him— I have to train him to control his hunger.
Theodore kicks his boots off and flops onto the large bed. "What are you waiting for? I am ready when you are." He smiles at me— a smile that melts my heart.
I blush. "Let me get out of uniform first... so, close your eyes."
Theo does as I bid him.
I change out of my uniform and into my nightgown that Jasper has so cleverly left in my lover's bedroom with a note:

Lady Iliana, do what you must. Turning him is the only way.

Instead of telling Theodore to open his eyes, I jump onto the bed beside him. I kiss his hurt cheeks first. "We can't have your wounds going unattended can we?" I smirk before meeting his lips with my own.
We soon find our bodies tangled with each other's. Surprisingly our clothes remain on.
I have my head resting against his shoulder. I hold one of his hands in mine, tracing the line of his knuckles. "I love you. I love you like flowers love the sun. I love you more than anyone in my life right this moment. I want you and only you."
Theo laughs such a warm and sweet laugh that it, too, melts my heart. "I only want one thing in this world— you. I cannot part with you in any way. I want to be by your side for the rest of your life. Please, turn me so that that may become something that is no longer impossible." He strokes my cheek. "You're my precious blossom and I shall not share your beauty."
I turn so that I am on top of my lover. "Can you handle the pain? You know that my venom is quite painful." I open my mouth and my canines grow a tad longer but quite a bit sharper. My eyes remain a soft red. I don't want to scare him.
"Of course I know. I will do anything to be with you. Kill my mortal body and make me new. Make me stronger so that I may protect you. I am not afraid of what you must do." Theo winks. He remembers the present time. Theodore remembers what we have said.
"You do relive what I relive."
"Indeed. I told you as much and more. Now, it's time to carry out the task that you have been assigned by me. I am ready to join you forevermore. You know this. Just do it." Theo tilts his head so that I can get a good and clean bite on his neck. Theo closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. His body becomes so relaxed, he looks peaceful.
I steady my breathing and open my mouth. At first, I gently graze his neck with the tips of my fangs. I slowly sink my teeth in, waiting for him to beg for his life.
Theodore remains peaceful, despite the pain he is going through. The only sign that he is hurting is that his fists are clenched tightly. His skin color is drained, making his skin a pale ivory color.
I release his neck and reach for his hands. I unclenched them and bring them to my lips. I place a kiss upon each one. "You are special my love. Remember that always." I lay my head on the left side of his chest, listening to his heart's last beats. When the last beat comes and goes, I wake him with a kiss.
Theo opens his pale blue eyes and smiles. "I am yours." He sits up and puts me in his lap. "How can I be so lucky as to spend eternity with you?" Theodore showers me with kisses.
Within moments, we are giggling quite uncontrollably.
George enters the room. "Is everything alright in here? I heard quite a lot of giggling."
We face George and nod. "Everything is fine."
The butler notices his master's pale complexion. "Lord Falkhurst, are you sure? You look ill. Do you feel well?" He tilts his head.
"I have never felt better, George! This is the best I've felt in years." Theo gets up from the bed. "Please arrange to hire a new maid. Lady Iliana Antonios will soon be a Falkhurst. Don't even try to change my mind on the matter. It simply will not work."
George bows and leaves.
I slink off the bed and stand behind Theo. I rest my head on his left shoulder. "Are you hungry?"
Theodore reluctantly nods.
"What do you want? Whatever you want, I can get you."
Theo's hand trails down to the base of his throat. "Blood. I crave it— I want it."
"Come with me." I open the window in his room and stand on the edge of the window sill. I am still in my nightgown and barefoot. I jump from the window to the nearest branch of a tree I could see.
Theo runs to the window and looks at me. His eyes go wide. "Slow down. I'm quite new to this."
"Don't worry. You have the same speed I do. Come and join me on the hunt." I blow him a kiss.
Theo catches it and leaps toward me. He lands gracefully and pulls me to his chest. "I'm not losing you now. Come here." Theodore engulfs my lips using his. He kisses with a burning passion. Theo finally pulls away and grazes his throat with his fingers. "I'm hungry. Please help me hunt."
"Of course." I climb onto his back.
Theodore holds onto me. "Where to, Princess?"
I whisper the directions to my father's home. I feel the wind in my hair and on my face as Theo runs. I lean against him, clinging onto the most important part of my life.
