Chapter 3

Souh's POV

       Ki-Chan has been in the bathroom awhile, I hope he's okay, it's been like seven minutes, but after I've finished that thought, the classroom door opened, and it's Ki-Chan. He slowly walked to his seat and sat down, he seems sad. I hope no one started to make fun of him in the halls or anything because of the rumor. I kind of feel bad for feeding into the rumor but I like playing along with it. I tap Ki-Chan's shoulder, he turns around and I whisper "are you okay? You seem upset?" He just responds with "not really... I'll tell you about it later." I nod and look away. I look out the window, the sky is really pretty today.

Class felt like an eternity but it was really only about an hour. I immediately walked up to Ki-Chan and asked him why he took so long when he went to the bathroom. "Souh can I tell you somewhere withou-" he started coughing. A lot. He covered his mouth with his hand and coughed into it. Once he pulled his hand away there was two bloody grey rose petals in his hand. "Ki-Chan?" "Yeah... I have Hanahaki" "no! This can't be happening. Who did this to you? Who do you like?" "Souh calm down" "How can I calm down when you are have a chance of dying? Are you going to get the surgery?" "Souh... I can't get the surgery. I love the person too much to even consider it." After he said that I sighed and hugged him. There's nothing I could do, it was his decision. But whoever did this to him, I will kill them. I love him too much to let him die- wait. Did i just say what I think I just said? Do I really like ki-Chan like that?
