"Well my life couldn't get any better. I mean what's better than confessing to your crush and them accepting? And then your crush and you start dating? Nothing, I say, nothing! Well, until now. Though, you all are probably confused about what I'm talking about, so how about I start from the beginning?

It all began two weeks ago. It was a Wednesday, so we were at school. I had been crushing on you for about four months by this time. I had been talking about you to Naruse, to the point where he would just leave the room anytime your name was mentioned.

It was quite funny to be honest. But, I stopped because it was clearly annoying him. Soon, I started talking about you again, but this time asking for advice. I wanted his help to confess to you. He had agreed to help because he said he knew you felt the same way.

I never asked for how he knew. After all, he was dating your best friend so there must have been much gossiping between the two of them.

He helped me choose a nice bouquet of flowers for you. The bouquet had consisted of peonies- they mean romance, prosperity, bashfulness, and are meant to give good luck-, matthiola incanas- they mean never aging and beauty-, ranunculuses- these mean charm, attraction, and radiance-, and finally alstroemerias- these mean friendship and devotion.

I had a reason for giving you those flowers in specific. The peonies were meant to give me good luck when I finally confessed, as well as saying that I love you. Matthiola incanas were to symbolize your beauty and how my love for you will never die. The ranunculus were to say how attractive you are and how you charmed me. And the alstroemerias were to say that even if you reject me, I still want us to stay friends and that I'll continue to be by your side through it all.

I guess it kind of sounds dumb now that I say it loud to you. But they all stand true, even now while I tell you all of this.

After I had bought the flowers, I kept them in a nice vase in my house. The next day, I had asked you if I could come over to your house. You had agreed telling me to come at noon since that's when you'll be awake. While talking to me over the phone, you sounded happy for once.

The next day rolled around, and it was Saturday! It was and still is the best day of my life. I had came a bit earlier than you had said. I came at 11:20am.

I knocked on your door, hoping that there was a chance that you were awake. Fortunately, you were. You had come down your stairs and opened the door.

You had looked so cute! Your blueish hair was sticking out in different directions, and your face had drool on the corner of your mouth. I couldn't help but laugh at how beautiful you looked.

You had been so embarrassed and covered your face with your hands. You asked why I was here so early, and that I had woken you up.

I apologized, and told you that I just couldn't wait. You had blushed a deeper shade of red and tried covering more of your face. I apologized again, while taking the flowers, that I had kept hidden behind my back, out in front of me.

You uncovered your face after a little while and looked at the flowers I had basically shoved into your face. You hesitantly took them from me and held them, your blue eyes looking with wonder. Those charming eyes soon found their way to mine and you had seemed confused.

Then, I confessed to you. I can't remember exactly what I said, but I know I spoke about how happy you make me and how amazing you are. I was probably stuttering a lot too. That just sounds like something I would do.

Even though your face was still recovering from being so red not even five minutes ago, it became that scarlet hue that contrasted your blue and black aesthetic. Your eyes broke contact with mine, and they looked everywhere but me.

I had started to become worried about this reaction, and figured you didn't feel the same way. I had decided that I should just leave you be. I turned around and was about to walk off, but you grabbed my hand, stopping me in my tracks.

I had turned around to look at you and was ready to hear your rejection. However, I felt your body against mine, your arms wrapping around shoulders, as you pulled me into a warm hug.

Hope started to fill my body and mind as my lips curved upwards. I wrapped my arms around your waist pulling you closer to me, wanting to shower in your warmth more.

You started to stand on your tippy-toes to reach my ears. You had whispered that you liked me back and that you were happy I confessed to you first, or else it probably wouldn't happen.

We had stayed that way for a bit, basking in each others presence. Once, we broke apart, we went into your house. You had gotten ready for the day.

We then decided that today was our first date. We didn't ever leave your house. We had fun cuddling, watching movies together, and cooking food. I remember feeding you some ice cream and how embarrassed you got. It was a very good day.

Before I left your house, you had asked if we were dating now. I had said that I wanted to but it was up to you. You said you wanted to, so that's how we started dating.

I bet you're still wondering how today could even compare to that day. I mean, I'm pretty sure it was the best day of your life too. But, I'm sure your curious why I'm telling you this story.

Well, today we were out on a date. We were in your house again, just the two of us. We were content with just doing that.

As I was getting ready to leave, you had pulled me to you into a hug. I had smiled and hugged you back. You got on your tippy toes again and let go of my shoulders. You cupped my face with both of your hands and pulled it closer to you.

My face had started to become very red as it got closer to yours. Soon our noses were touching, and I could feel your breath against mine. You tilted your head and closed your eyes. You brought our lips together into a kiss, our first kiss.

Once, I snapped out of shock, I started to kiss you back. I tightened my grip around your waist, trying to bring you closer, closing my eyes as I drowned in my happiness. The kiss was short, lasting less than a minute. But it was still amazing.

You let go of my face, but kept yours close to mine. Your eyes were open now, as were mine. We were just staring at each other for a while, breathing slowly.

And that's how my life got even better," I finished the story to my boyfriend.

He looked at me in amusement. "Seriously? That's what you think of me?"

I nod rapidly. "I really do love you, Soraru."

Soraru sighs and rests his head on my shoulder, closing his eyes. "I love you too, Luz."
