On the 31st of August, Betty, Jughead, and Lolo drove into Riverdale. The little girl was awake on the back seat, eating cheerios and drinking milk with it. At least she wasn't whining anymore. Betty was nervous, her leg bouncing up and down and hand squeezing Jughead's. They were going to tell their families today. She wasn't excited.

She still remembered the first time too clearly. Her mother wasn't happy about her choice of a father (not that she really had a choice as came out in the end), and everybody else was just shocked. Betty had told it to them without any emotions in her besides betrayal and pain.

The worst thing had been Jughead's reaction. Once he had heard the word pregnant, he ran out of the room.

But this time it was going to be better.

She wasn't there alone. Jughead was by her side. They had a toddler. They were great parents. She just hoped they were going to be happy for them.

"It's gonna be okay," Jughead whispered once he had parked the car in front of Betty's house.

"You think so?"

He nodded. "We're both 25 now, baby. I'm gonna get 26 in a month. We have enough money. We're looking for bigger apartments. And we rule as parents," he said, nodding his head towards the toddler in the backseat who was swinging her legs and looking at them while eating.

Betty chuckled at the last part and enjoyed the three soft jaw kisses he gave her before kissing her lips as well. "I love you," he said.

"I love you too," Betty smiled nervously before they both got out of the car. Jughead got their bags out while Betty worked on getting their daughter outside. Once that had been done, the small girl ran towards the door already. When the three steps came, she crawled up of them. Betty smiled, happy that she was careful just like they had taught her.

Both of the grownups got a few bags and also went to the house. Jughead pushed the door open, but let the girls go first. "Hello?" Betty shouted.

"Hey," Alice smiled big, hurrying down the stairs.

"Anma," Lolo said when Alice hugged her first.

"That's supposed to mean grandma," Betty explained with a smile, pushing her shoes off.

"You're even more adorable than the last time I saw you," Alice awed, kissing her before moving on to Betty. "Hi, honey."

"Hi," she chuckled, hugging her back tightly and kissed her mom's cheek as always.

"Jug," Alice smiled, hugging him as well.

"Why do I have to hug everybody every time I come here?" he complained.

"You're dating that girl, how can you survive her if you hate hugging?" Alice smirked, glancing towards Betty.

"I only like her hugs," he protested, making both of the women laugh. "Are my dad and Jellybean here?"

"No, Jelly's at home with a friend, but she promised to be here in an hour or so. And your dad went to get Pop's, knowing you guys are probably hungry."

"Yes," Betty groaned. "I've been craving a milkshake for a few days already."

"So..."

"So...?" FP asked impatiently. Betty and Jughead had asked for him, JB and Alice to sit down and that they had some news. So, now they were all seated in the living room, in silence.

Betty bit her lip nervously, meeting Jughead's eyes. His hand was on her thigh, not too up for it to be inappropriate in front of his little sister and their parents, but high enough to give Betty shivers. Then he squeezed it and...
