I am Y/n Goodman. Most people just know me as Cyrus's sister. Jonah Beck is one of the only people who call me by my real name. That's why I like him so much. And that's why I asked him two days ago to meet me at The Spoon today, after school. He told yes.
It was now after school and I was waiting for Jonah to arrive. When he arrived he had brought the whole gang with him. I thought this was a date. When he brought them over Cyrus said, "Hey sis. How are you?"
"Great Cy," I say sarcastically. My brother notices the sarcasm in my voice and looks at me all confused. You see, my brother has no idea I like Jonah. I just never told him. Though I did think he would have caught on by now.
After sitting there for a few minutes I just got up and left. I didn't want to go out with everyone, I wanted to go out with just Jonah. When I left, Jonah ran after me. He said, "Hey, Y/n wait up." When he caught up to me he asked, "What's wrong? You just got up and ran out on us without even saying goodbye."
I looked him in the eyes and said, "I didn't want the others to come. I wanted it to be just you and me. I wanted it to be a date." Jonah looked at me in shock. I guess he had no idea.
Jonah looked at me and said, "Well then, Y/n Goodman, will you go out with me?" I looked at him surprised. Surprised he felt the same way. I nodded my head quickly and then hugged him. BEST DAY EVER!
