S O Y E O N

Death isn't uncommon in my life. In fact, my life's full of death.

The only reason why I was still alive was because of the people around me. From my family to my friends and to strangers.

They built me up. I can't just demolish what they've made. It'll break not just my heart but also for the ones who molded me to be the lady I am. But right now, I wanted to finish the beginning they've ended.

Why am I talking like this? Well, I just found out that another family member of mine died. I don't want to name her. She's better unknown than known.

"Who's next to play?"

"Nakamoto Yuta."

"What are you waiting for? Give me his heart. This game won't play itself."

"But what would we do if someone caught us?"

"Don't worry. I got it all settled."

"Hey Soyeon. Can I ask you something?" Yuta asked me as I was making pancakes for breakfast.

"What?"

"Do you know anything about Nakamoto? Baekhyun showed me the pictures you send when you were in China."

That little piece of– why would he show that to the others. She thought.

"All I know is that that's your name. Nakamoto Yuta. Nothing else."

He lunged forward grabbing my neck, choking me in the process. "Don't lie to me. Please, I need to know if you saw something in that file!"

"Yes! Yes! Now will you please let me go." I finally could breathe after he released my neck from his strong grip.

"What do you know?" He didn't look at me but instead he looked at the floor.

"I'm sorry but it said terminated. I hate to admit it but they're dead. Just last year." I felt guilty for saying that to him and also relieved.

Yuta sat on the floor. Covering his ears and closing his eyes. He looked so broken. As if he fell from a mountain and only realized he was falling when he was already on the ground.

I sat beside him as I side hugged him. It didn't felt awkward nor uncomfortable but it felt just right.

"You haven't seen them in years after you left home, did you?"

He nodded his head yes. "I told them I didn't need them to live my life before I left. Now, I want to go back in time and be able to say thank you that they provided me with all the things that I needed."

"Shh. I know how that feels. We only realise the value of the one we love when when we loose them. We can say that we love them, when one day, we open our eyes and look beside us. No one is there and you'll feel lost and alone."

After a few minutes of comforting Yuta. He felt a little better.

"You better not tell anyone about this, Yuna."

"Wait. Are you calling me Yuna? Only my family can call me that."

"Ouch! I'm not part of your family? But I wanted too." He put his hand on his chest where his heart is and pretended to be hurt.

"Fine. You can call me Yuna. But don't tell anyone what I found back in China."

Y U T A

I went downstairs and straight to the door. Before I could even hold the doorknob.

"And where do you think your going?"

I turned around facing Taeyong. This will not end good.

"Outside. To get fresh air."

He eyed me suspiciously before nodding his head yes. Taeyong turned around and went inside the elevator which he will probably be visiting Soyeon.

I went out of the headquarters and walked to a dark alleyway. I know what your thinking, why?

There's a hidden house behind the walls of this alley that I like to use when I need to meditate.

I looked around before walking in. It's not good to be exposed specially when your a member of a gang.

"What a surprise to see you here Nakamoto Yuta." A male voice said from behind me.

My instincts immediately told me to ouch whoever was behind me, but when I turned back, no one was there. Then I felt a cold item being pressed in the back of my head. A gun.

"Look at me." I turned around to look at him.

"How?"

"What do you mean he's gone? He can't possibly be dead!" I paced back and forth.

Where could Yuta be? He won't just disappear like that, right?

Guess who's suppose to update yesterday for Yuta's birthday? Me. Well Yuta's bday was yesterday and I was suppose to update yesterday but my last few braincells which I share with 15 more people decided to be a lazy potato again and update today. I'm very sorry so happy bday Yuta, even though your bday was yestoday.
And Yuta is NOT dead in this book. Just wait for the plot.
