Message Sent.
Liam: Hey, I'm outside :D
Three minutes pass by.
What's taking them so long?
As I was about to send another message asking if she's awake, someone sunddenly opened the entrance to the house.
I looked up to see who it was but not exactly the person I'd be expecting to open the door.
Liam: Hey, buddy. What are you doing answering the door by yourself?
Noah: Well, she wasn't feeling well so I came instead.
Liam: Is she sick?
Noah: Ummm....
Noah looked away from me and looked behind him.
He turned his head back to me, but this time instead of having a neutral face, he was frowning.
Liam: Noah?
Noah: You should come check yourself. She told me not to tell you but.... I can't. She looks very bad.
I kneeled down to my little brother, who seemed like he was about to cry.
Liam: Hey, don't worry. She won't get mad at you for telling me. I'm pretty sure she'll actually be glad that you actually told me.
I stepped into Anna's home and silently closed the door behind me. My little brother took my right hand and took it into his small ones. He took me down the dark, cold hallway that seems to lead to Anna's room. After a few more steps, he stopped in front of a white door.
Noah: This is her room. She's sleeping. She woke up when you sent her the message, but quickly fell back to sleep.
Liam: Alright. Why don't you go and wait in the living room whilst I check up on her, ok?
Noah: Ok. Tell her I said bye and to feel better.
I chuckled.
Liam: Sure thing, buddy.
As soon as Noah walked down the hallway into the living room, I put my right hand on the doorknob and quietly open and entered. When I closed the door, she quickly made a turn in her sleep. Thankfully, she didn't wake up.
I quietly walk toward her bed, but as I do so, I noticed that her room seemed so plain for someone who had such a big, and amazing personality like hers.
I finally reached her bed to only hear myself gasp in shock.
She was sleeping peacefully, but I could hear her heavy breathing. But that wasn't what bothered me. What bothered me.... was that instead of her bright face looking flawless, a big, purple bruise has been placed on her delicate, left cheek.
What happened last night?
Why does she have this on her delicate face?
Who did this?
