Wednesday morning went the same only I was stopped on my way to Evie's room by one of the guys frim yesterday.
"Hey, I'm Trey," He said his name was something I desperately needed to know. "Okay, cool I'm busy," I said before pushing past him and beginning to walk away. "Wait, your Annie right?" He said. Stalker much. "Yeah, and how do you know that?" I asked with a look of curiosity on my face. "My father knew your mother, Annabeth, before the outbreak happened. They were best friends until she met your dad that is," Trey explained but I was already done with this conversation. "Well thank you Troy, for giving me the world's most useless information," I said deliberately getting his name wrong, "But I need to get going, my friends will where I am," I said before rushing down the corridor.
Fast forward to Breakfast:
"Annie had a run with cutie from yesterday," Evie announced as Sammi and Steph sat down. "It wasn't like that before you say anything, he's a total creep. He already knew my name about my mother as well," I explained seeing the look the were giving me. "Okay but sometimes creeps can be cute and he probably heard us say your name yesterday or something, "Steph said. "But that doesn't explain how he knew who my mother was," I said. "Your mother was legendary and there's not very many of us left, so he probably just heard stories about her and her amazing daughter, okay so don't stress about it," Evie said. "Please tell me you at least found out his name?" Sammi asked. "His names Trey but that's all I know and all I'm ever going to know about him," I said giving them 'the' look. "Whatever you say Annie, whatever you say" Steph said as she rolled her eyes.
As I was walking back to my room after training, I heard someone call my name and just my luck it was Trey the stalker. "And what do you want?" I asked as I turned around to face him. "I realised I must sounded like a creep this morning as already knew your name before you eve told me and I just wanted to apologise for that," he said. How nice of him. (Insert eye roll). "Yeah about that, how did you know my name?" I asked, the look of curiosity returning to my face. "As I said this morning, my dad knew your mum before the outbreak," he said, poorly explaining himself. "Yeah and I was born after the outbreak, so how did you know my name?" I asked again as I was beginning to get extremely fed up with this guy. "Right sorry. Um, this is gonna sound really weird but my dad told me stories about you," he explained. Okay major stalker alert. "And why would your dad tell you stories about little old me?" I asked, once again getting incredibly fed up with this guy. "Well, it just so happens that little old you are quite the legend at my facility, just like your mother. So he told me stories about you so I would have someone to look up to and admire but of course it didn't work 'cause I look up to nobody," Trey explained. "well thanks for the history lesson but I need to go. Oh and if I'm being honest I wouldn't look up to me either," I said before smirking and turning ti walk back in the direction I was walking in before this whole 'interesting' conversation happened.
Me a legend. Never.
