"Adam! Please stop! Jake listen to me for ONCE!" I pulled Jake's shirt. His eyes flashed to me. I was in pain but I wasn't just going to watch. "Please." He stood up and spit on Adam. I saw Adam get up and start to go so I stood in front of him. "Enough. God I'm just a girl you could find many more like me." I glared at me and turned away. "Boys office! Thanks Kathy." I looked at the guys and I just was done with both of them. I wasn't just going to be a thing the toss around. I have a heart and feelings. About 10 minutes they came out. Both of them silent. It was a scary sight. "Adam we need to talk."
"Yes we do." He was quick about it I knew that was bad. "You go first." He put his head down and bit his lip. "I don't think we're going to work out. I can't even protect you. You don't trust me enough. I just." I felt tears stream down my face. I hugged him and put my head in his chest. I felt his arms wrap around me. "Is there anyway to fix it?" I didn't want to let go. "Maybe. But Kathy you need to say goodbye to Jake. He's the reason...." "Then goodbye Adam." But if he was going to make me chose. He should know I pick friends. Always friends no matter what. I still had tears stream down my face I ran into Jake's arms which were right open. "I always get the girl. Always."
