Day after Day

A green grassy field met my eyes as I opened them.

What happened?

What I previously went through,

Was that just a horrible dream?

I heard a sweet voice whisper,

"Come this way, you will make lots of good memories with me~"

I looked around, only seeing an endless world of mountains, beaches, and hills.

A pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist.

I swiveled my head back as far as I could, in order to see what was hugging me.

A tree was hugging me.

I heard of tree huggers, but I never heard of hug trees.

I wiggled out of its grip as it whispered in the same sweet voice as before.

" Sing a song that relates to your loved one, and you will have ultimate fun in the days passing by~"

I cleared my throat and sang Negai Boshi,  one of Ai's songs.

"Beautiful~" The tree praised and applauded.

The tree then dissappeared.

In its spot was Ai.

"Ai! "

I ran into his arms, but when I did, he disappeared.

In his place was once again the tree.

"Don't you like this place? I created it for you... I took all the wonderful things that humans think are beautiful, and put them all in one world. Don't you like it?"

"I do, but-"

"Wonderful! That means we could play here FOREVER"

The tree started to split, revealing a dark shadow, with gleaming yellow eyes, studying my soul.

I ran wherever I could go.

Anywhere.

"Over here!"

I saw a figure with a red hood draped over his head and face.

I rushed along the path he was taking me.

I finally rested in a fort.

"You're lucky girl..."

Ai's POV
"(Y/N)! Where is she?!"

I noticed how... panicked I felt.

" I'm sorry sir, but she's in a coma, but you may go and see her." The nurse gestured to a room.

I rushed into the desired room, sitting down quickly and I saw (Y/n) sleep peacefully, as if she had no worries.

I couldn't believe what state she was in.

Those girls... a mother minute or two would mean death.

Was she important to them? No.

But she was important to me.
