✿ Asahi was always very anemic throughout his life, which caused him to faint and be rather sleepy continuously during the day. He has to constantly take iron pills in order for him to stay awake for at least 7 hours a day. These symptoms have caused him to be quite lazy and listless, not even bothering to cut his hair when it reached all the way to his lower back. His father was usually never around, as he was busy with work, while his mother died when he was born. His father remarried to Asahi's current step-mother, who treats him like he's a crushed soda can on the sidewalk.

✿ The company that Asahi's father now owns was ruined ever since he took over the company. He doesn't care how many people he tramples, he will shut down other businesses in order to get his hospitals across Japan. His father has a huge rivalry with the Ootori's as another hospital company, which has caused these selfish acts. This has caused many people to go after, hate, and threaten the company. Asahi does not want to become heir seeing as his condition prevents him from being able to, and because he is afraid of what might happen to him if he does. Asahi's father disregards this fact and leaves him with high expectations and stress.

✿ He's known Takashi and Mitsukuni throughout middle school and high school so far, and joined the host club with them.

Now, Asahi is known as the "listless type" in the host club. Lets see how he reacts when a random girl comes into the mix.
