I had been thinking a lot lately about my second half.

I had been thinking of the attributes I want him to have.

And then Jeffereson Bethke said "It's not about finding the one but preparing yourself to be the one."

And then I thought along the lines of "woah, #gamechanger".

I NEED TO PREPARE MYSELF TO BE THE ONE. YOU NEED TO PREPARE YOURSELF TO BE THE ONE.

And as if this wasn't enough, God blew my mind even more.

He helped realise that I didn't need to prepare myself to be the one for my earthly spouse but for my marraige at the end of time.

By preparing to meet God, I would be fully prepared to meet my spouse.

So I am trying to build my character, and be someone who is prepared for the coming of Jesus Christ.

And you should too.
