Chapter 12

Akari's PoV

I got up from bed coz I can't sleep.. I looked at the others then at Kohaku sleeping near the door. I went to him and stroked his furr and smiled. He opened his eyes and yawned... "Akari? Cant sleep again?" He asked and I nodded.

"Want me to accompany you?" He asked "Yeah sure..." I answered and got out of the room quietly. We went to the balcony near Ino's room. I sat at the railings and let my feet hang down. Im at the second floor... I looked over at Kohaku and he is asleep again..

I stood up on the railings and started to sing..

I stopped and looked up at the sky then sighed...

"I know that you're there...what do you want?" I asked and looked at...Sasuke?! Tch I thought t'was Naruto...I sighed and didn't turned to look at him.

"How much have you heard?" I asked again. "Only the ending part...why? Is it bad to hear you sing?" He asked and I chuckle... "Not really...its only Naruto and Kohaku heard me sing that's all" I answered.

"By the way how'd you know that I was watching?" He asked and I shrugged. "I just feel like Im being watched that's all...and I was a bit surprise to find that its not Naruto.." I replied and looled at him for a bit then he walked towards the balcony and lay his back at the door frame with hands in his pockets.

"Why would you think that I was dobe?" Sasuke asked and I sat at the railings, back still at him. I took a glance at Kohaku then at him again and saw that he was looking at me with a frowning expression I smiled.

"Coz whenever I woke up he will too well maybe after a few minutes he will...then he and Kohaku will listen to me singing" I stated and looked at the peaceful night infrotn of my eyes.

"Hey look at the person you are talking to will yah?!" Sasuke whisper shouted and I looked at him over my shoulder and got down of the railing and I bent down to stroke Kohaku and went to Sasuke. I neared my face to him, only 2 inches away from his face then smiled. "W-what the thell?!" He shouted just enough for me and him to hear it.

He pushed me and he was blushing which caused me to giggle. "You know you look cute when you blush Sasuke" I told him and he glared at me which I just returned with a sweet smile.

"So why are you awake?" I asked and he frowned at me. "Oh..I was thirsty...? I guess.." I stated and I giggled. "Yeah? You guess?" I teased and he started to walk towards the kitchen and I followed after him but before that I scooped Kohaku off the balcony's floor.

Take note Kohaku is already in his small form so yeah... Hehehe I followed Sasuke to the kitchen who is drinking a water, after drinking I snatched the glass he was holding and poured water to it and drinked it.

"You can't drink from a glass that is already use" Sasuke told me and I put the glass down at the sink and turned around to see him frown. "Yeah I know...and...I dont care~" I stated slowly and stroked Kohaku's furr.

"Well good night to you Sasuke~" I teased and waved at him while walking out of the kitchen. I entered Ino's room and went to my futon and slept.

The next day we bid our thank you's and good bye's to everyone and went back to our house by team. We dropped Sakura first coz her house is the nearest to Ino's.

"Thanks for walking me back to home..." Sakura stated and I only nodded. "Welcome Sakura 'ttebayo!" Naruto answered. "Hn" Sasuke...I dont really know if that is considered as an answer. We started to walk again and next stop is to Sasuke's apartment.

"There you go teme! No need to thank us!" Naruto shouted when we got to his apartment. "Shut up dobe! And I dont have any intention on thanking you two! And I didn't told you to walk me home!" Sasuke shouted and closed the door making Naruto winced coz his face is a bit close to the door so it kissed him.

"Naruto let's go" I told him and dragged him so he wont make anymore trouble.

"Baka teme" I heard Naruto stated and I only sighed. We got home and I throwed Naruto over the couch and went to my room and lay on the bed.

"Im...so exhausted" I whispered and stared at the ceiling when I heard a knock at the door I looked at Kohaku who is at the floor sleeping like what he always does. "Come in" after saying that the door opened and revealed Naruto. "Yes?" I asked and he went near me.

"U-uhm...Kari-chan...wh-what do you think our parents look like?" My eyes widen when I heard that and I smiled then think for a moment then looked at him. "I think they will be great if they're alive right now, and besides our dad is the hokage so I think he will be a great dad don't you think?" I told him and he smiled at me.

"Yeah, I think so..can I sleep with you?" He asked and I laughed. "Sure,but dont yah think its a bit early to sleep? Its like we just woke up like a couple of minutes ago.." I stated while chuckling. He went quiet for a while then when the information sunk I laughed at his face.

"What's funny Kari-chan?!" He shouted and I shook my head. "Nothin' just go to sleep..again..sleepyhead then when you woke up we will be eating lunch then train.." I informed him and he nodded.

"Hai! Kari-chan!" I smiled at his demeanor and went back at staring at the ceiling until my phone vibrated. 'Hmm? A call? From whom?...oh shit! Its probably from Author-chan!' I immediately got my phone out and pressed the answer button.

"Author-chan?!" I whisper-shout and I heard a chuckle at the other side. "Why hello Akari how are you? I just wanted to tell you that the chunnin exams are in the next month" Autho-chan told me and my eyes widen.

"Shit you're right! Argh...forgot about that...why is the day here a bit fast??" I asked her and she just chuckled. "Got to go now bye~" And after that she hung up and I sighed and went to sleep.
