Ultraman Mebius side story: Ghost Reverse

Stage 1: The Graveyard of Darkness

In the Land of Light, the Ultra Brothers received the interrupted Ultra Sign sent by Hikari, which came from the Monster Graveyard. Obtaining Zoffy's approval, Ace and Taro departed to investigate the matter while Mebius, on his routine patrol, was quickly notified by Zoffy to join the investigation. Taro and Ace began fighting the four heavenly kings at the Monster Graveyard.

"Hikari, I hope you're ok" Mebius said with worry, flying to the Monster Graveyard. He went through some coldness, that froze his hands. "It's dreadful cold...what could of caused this?" He asked himself. Then all of a sudden he got blasted by an ice beam. He grunted as he spun out of control and landed hard on a rock, injuring his side. "Y-you!" He looked up and he saw Golzam. Golzam laughed "You can't destroy the undead Golzam!" He said and started to attack. The two engaged in combat. Mebius then got blasted again by Inpelaizer, breaking his side bone. Mebius screamed in pain. "Heh, I'll leave you two here" Golzam laughed and took off to the Monster Graveyard. "WAIT!" Mebius screamed and held his side tightly, grunting. He continued to fight Inpelaizer.

Meanwhile Ace and Taro were fighting. "Wait!" Mefilas said to Taro and placed his blade in the stone. Hikari appeared and screamed in pain as he hung from the rock, being shocked. "HIKARI!" Taro and Ace shouted. They got distracted and got attacked. They screamed and fell. They got surrounded and the two ultras looked at eachother.

A few minutes later Mebius couldn't move, he hid behind a rock as Inpelaizer blasted everywhere. Mebius got up weakly but collapsed, one of his legs became paralyzed. Mehcazam noticed the Ultra and defeated Inpelaizer and went to the Ultra. "You ok?" He asked. Mebius nodded "who are you?" Mebius asked. "I am Mehcazam" the robot warrior replied. "My comrades...they need me" he panted. He limped and took off to the Monster Graveyard. Mehcazam took an interest in the Ultra Warrior, fighting for his comrades despite the injuries sustained and spied the former from afar.

Arriving at the Monster Graveyard, Mebius discovered that Ace and Taro were held hostages by the Heavenly Kings. "Big brothers!" Mebius said and ran over to him. Mebius Killer blocked the way. "We've been waiting for you" Deathrem said. "What took you so long?" Mebius Killer asked in a taunting way. Mefilas floated in sitting on a rock laughing. Mehcazam landed behind a rock from afar and spied on Mebius. "What do you want?" Mebius asked. "Go into the Valley of fire and retrieve the Giga Battle Nizer!" Mebius Killer demanded. "Giga Battle Nizer?" Mebius asked. "Yes, a legendary item that is related to the Battle Nizer, that can manipulate 100 monsters at once. We will use it to restore the emperor" Mefilas replied. "Alien Empera!" Mebius exclaimed. Mefilas held a strange object. "This is the grudge of the defeated emperor back on Earth" Mefilas explained. "Now go! Enter the Valley of Fire!" Deathrem demanded. Mebius looked down.

"You don't have a choice!" A voice called out. Mebius looked up and gasped. Hikari walked on top of where Ace and Taro were held hostage. "Hikari?!" Mebius asked. "Hmph, the only one that can enter the hellish flames of the Valley of Fire, which is you" Hikari said while pointing to Mebius. "Hikari...why?!" Mebius said in shock. "I'm sorry Mebius, I decided to take the will the Giga Battle Nizer's power, it holds a terrible force" He said sternly. "What do you mean?" Mebius asked. Hikari looked and knelt down. "Is it normal for a warrior to persue power?" Hikari asked in a taunting way. "For what reason to turn to the dark side AND BETRAY OUR BROTHERS!!" Mebius shouted. "Heh, that's right" Hikari jumped up and pointed his sword at Mebius. The Heavenly Kings laughed as Mebius stared in shock. Mebius collapsed when his broken side and paralyzed leg gave way. He immediately got up but showed signs of pain. "Being betrayed by his trusted comrade really must of stung" Mefilas said while chuckling. "Give in already!" Deathrem said. "You listen to us now" Mebius Killer added. "Go fetch the Giga Battle Nizer like a good little boy, GO! MEBIUS!" Hikari said as he punched Mebius, making the young ultra fall to the ground. Mehcazam was shocked. Deathrem slashed Taro and Ace's color timers, making Mebius get up and started walking away. He turned into his Burning Brave mode. "I will be back, no matter what" Mebius said as he drilled a hole into the ground to get to the Valley of Fire's entrance. The mosters cheered. "Well done Hikari!" Mefilas said happily and patted his shoulder. Hikari felt guilty for hitting his friend. Mehcazam decided got go after Mebius.

Mebius got to the entrance and landed. Mehcazam landed behind him making the Ultra turn around. "Mehcazam!" Mebius exclaimed. "I heard everything" the robot said sternly. "I'm not letting you do this alone" he added. Mebius nodded and the both of them entered, Mebius getting burned in the process. In the middle of their journey, they were attacked by the Giga Battle Nizer's guardian, EX Zetton. "EX Zetton!" Mebius exclaimed.
