Stage 2: The Rescue

Mechazam proceeded to attack EX Zetton in mad fury but almost perished in the molten lava until Mebius saved him, despite being heavily injured by EX Zetton. "YOU CAN DO IT! MECHAZAM!!!" Mebius yelled and thrown him to the Battle Nizer, Mechazam tried to break the seal under Mebius' guidance to reverse the disruption field but as the container was too strong. EX Zetton blasted Mebius into the molten lava, Mebius screamed in pain as he got very bad burns. He went under, his burns formed black nasty scabs on his skin. "MEBIUS!!" Mechazam screamed, then he looked back at the seal.

Despite the fact that the lava could kill him, Mechazam jumped in to save Mebius. He went under the lava and grabbed Mebius and immediately got him out of there, he got up to where the Giga Battle Nizer is and pulled Mebius up. "Mebius...Mebius!!" Mechazam shook the Ultra, but got little response. Mebius tried to get up but he fell. Mebius finally got up and successfully shattered the seal with Mechazam, allowing Mebius' power to replenish. The two soon perform a counterattack on EX Zetton and successfully destroyed the monster.

Mebius grabbed the Giga Battle Nizer and collapsed. Mehcazam ran over and caught him. "Let me carry you..." He said as he picked Mebius up bridal style. Mebius was slipping in and out of consciousness. Then the two started to head back to the Heavenly Kings.

Despite Mebius having retrieved the Battle Nizer, the Heavenly Kings broke the deal by almost killing Mebius and Mehcazam until Hikari swiped the device. Mebius was too weak to fight, the scabs getting worse. "Mecha.....zam" Mebius said weakly. "I know Mebius, hang on" the robot comforted Mebius, holding him close. Hikari ran over with the device, very worried. "Mebius!" He called out. Mebius looked over weakly. Ace and Taro destroyed the monsters but Mefilas retreated.

Mebius was unconscious when Mehcazam was holding him while the other three Ultras ran to them. "Mebius!" Hikari called out. "The wounds are very severe, we need to get him to the medical bay" Taro said. Mehcazam held him tightly in a defensive way. "Hey...hey it's ok, we are friends of Mebius" Ace said. Mebius woke up weakly, and looked at the Ultras. "Hi...kari" he said weakly. Hikari ran over and knelt down. "I'm here my friend, I'm here" The blue ultra held the young Ultra's hand. Mebius tried to move but he screamed in pain and held his broken side. "Mehcazam, please help us get Mebius back home" Taro said, getting a nod from the robot. Mehcazam held Mebius tightly and they went back to the Land of Light, not knowing they were being followed by Mefilas.
