When we arrived back to the school, it was third period. "Math time," I thought, but then stopped outside the class wide eyed. Alexander stopped next to me. "Angel?" he asked concerned. "Shit. I'm right-handed, and we need to write everything down and type, and my good arm is broken!" I complained, then walked into the room glumly and sat down.
"So Angel, I heard about your arm. I just want you to know that I will try to sit next to you and help you until your arm gets better." my teacher Taunya said as she sat next to me and took the attendance of the class. After she did that, she would write out the equations and I would solve it the best I could verbally and she would correct my mistakes. She's the best teacher. "Alright guys, time for Fourth period." my teacher Mike said. I tried to put all of my stuff away but I couldn't.
"I hate to ask but Alexander, can you please get my stuff for me?" I asked defeated. "Of course Princess anything for you!" he smiled and put my stuff in my backpack, then ran off with both of our backpacks. "Hey!" I yelled and ran after him. By the time we got to the gym, I saw my friends and the one who broke my arm, a.k.a Jared Rablin. I ran up to Erin and Zac and hid without hurting my arm.
"Oh shit Angel, did he do this to you?" Zac asked looking at my arm worriedly. I nodded. "Well we're going to protect you." he said and Erin nodded in agreement. Alexander dropped our bags outside the gym and looked at Jared. That's when Jared started walking over to us. I flinched and Erin hugged me protectively while the boys stood in between us and him, ready to fight if needed.
"Hey guys what's up?" he asked when he came up to us. I backed up until I hit the wall and he laughed. "Come here I just want to talk!" he said and smiled. I slowly walked to him, going in between Zac and Alexander. When I got to Jared he smirked. "So, how does your arm feel?" he asked and hit my broken arm full force.
I cried out in pain and fell to the floor. Just then I saw someone jump over me. I looked up and saw Alexander fighting Jared. Zac and Erin helped me stand up and started to get me out of the gym but I stayed. Instead I held my arm carefully and started walking over to Alexander and Jared. Alexander was on top of Jared and was violently punching him.
I went to pull him off but as soon as I put my hand on his shoulder, he turned around and punched me in the face. I stumbled backwards and fell to the ground again. I saw black spots blurring my vision and I blacked out for the second time that day.
__________________When I woke up again, I realized that I was in my bedroom. 'So they finally decided to send me home,' I thought and slowly sat up. It was quiet, except for the t.v. playing in the living room. Just then I heard someone running in front of my closed door. 'But I wasn't making any noise, how could anyone hear me so well?' I questioned when I heard scratching sounds on my door. I smiled. I'm not home alone. I walked to my door, opening it, and looked down. Sitting elegantly with his tail wrapped around his paws, was Grayson Fullbuster, my gray kitty.
"Well you're already here, might as well come in." I said and he walked in, then jumped onto my bed. He sprawled himself out across the bed. I rolled my eyes and laughed a little, then walked to the living room, where I saw my mom and my grandparents. Mom was crying so I went to her and hugged her. "I'm sorry all of this happened to you on your first day." she cried.
"Its okay mom. I'm just waiting for something better to happen..." I said quietly and walked outside. I made my way over to where my sister's bus stop was and waited. 10 minutes passed when her bus came to the stop and she jumped down the steps and ran to me, but stopped when she saw my sling.
"Uh oh sissy what happened?" she asked. "Its nothing to worry about." I answered. "Now! Last one inside is a rotten cheese stick!" I yelled and we started running back to the house. 'Well,' I thought. 'Today was definitely an interesting first day.'
