Your POV
I sat in the tub and let the warm water wash away all the blood and the hurt that had been caused to me over these last few years. I looked down my body and spotted all the bruises and the scratches they left wondering why they chose me to pick on. Maybe it was because I didn't fit their mild, maybe it was because I didn't wear tons of makeup. Maybe it was cause my clothes fit me properly, I had no idea what it was but it scared me that things were getting worst with them. Choking me was a step up and nearly breaking my wrist was another, I was scared that if I didn't do something soon it was going to get a lot worst. I sat in the tub with the water that was lightly tinted red, washing away my bleeding wrist. I wish I could die, Brooke was right. There was no need for me, her and her girls made sure of that when they spread rumors of me. There was no need to be on this planet, slowly I sunk deeper and deeper into the water until I was completely submerged under the water and I held my breath. I closed my eyes and became very aware of my heart beat as I relaxed in the warm water. I didn't know how long I stayed under there only that a knock at the door jolted me out of the water.
"Yess", I called out.
"Darling were home and we brought food , my mother yelled through the door.
"Ok mom be right out", I yelled back.
Grabbing the wash cloth I washed the rest of the blood off of me and let go of the water. I looked even worst in the mirror, bags under my eyes. My hair sopping wet, having around my face. I wish there was someone out there to sweep me away from all this, but that was a lie. There were no such things as happily ever after, those were for suckers. Happy endings are just stories that haven't finished yet.
