Y/n shifted in her seat as Ein walked into her classroom and started speaking with the teacher- She could tell Daniel was a little bit freaked out so she set her hand on his shoulder to calm him down. He smiled at her nervously and she nodded her head at him with a small smile while shifting the lollipop around in her mouth. It is the last hour of the day and Y/n and Daniel are in art class. It's the only class they share together besides werewolf class because Y/n is a senior and Daniel is a sophomore.

Teacher: Daniel, after school the 'Alpha Male' would like to speak to you in the common area.

Then- just like that, Ein was gone again. Daniel looked at Y/n in worry while she was glaring at the door where Ein left. Daniel leaned over a whispered to Y/n quietly as the teacher wasn't paying attention.

Daniel: Y/n, I-I'm scared. I don't trust Ein.

Y/n: I don't either. Don't worry- after school I'll come with you. That way you're not alone.

Daniel smiled goofily at Y/n and she just gave him a quiet chuckle. When the bell finally rang Y/n turned her drawing in to the teacher and firmly grasped Daniels hand. When they made it to the common area Dottie and Rylan were there just standing around talking. Y/n leaned against the wall as she saw Ein approaching.

Dottie: Do you guys know why we're here?

Rylan: No, do you Daniel?

Daniel: No...

Ein was now in front of them all. He had a small smile on his face but Y/n could see through his facade. Y/n sighed as her best friend Dante was texting her- they had planned to meet in the library after class today. She guessed she'd have to text him back soon.

Ein: The reason why I've gathered you all here today is simple. I want you three to choose between yourselves who the new omega will be.

Y/n's eyes went wide- her neck twitched as the wolf pups seemed to be in shock.

Dottie: Wait! You want us to what!?

Ein: I want you guys to pick one of you to be the new omega.

Rylan: U-Us? B-But why?

Ein: Someone has to be the omega- and you three just happen to be the weakest.

Y/n's jaw clenched as she saw Daniel start to shake.

Dottie: I-I mean, yeah we kinda are- B-But why!?

Ein: Because I'm the alpha now!

Rylan: But- But!

Ein: Now pick one of you to be the new omega.

Dottie: W-We won't!

Rylan: Yeah- I'm not doing it!

Ein just seemed to forget I'm here- I stood in front of Daniel protectively. I mean- I technically am part of the pack...

Ein: Then he-

Y/n: Wait! I will be the new omega. That's final.

Ein growled at the fact that he was cut off. Y/n stood stone faced in front of Daniel, Dottie, and Rylan.

Ein: You can't do that- !

Y/n: Yes I can. I am a part of this pack and in the rule book it says that anyone willing to take the position of Omega is open to as long as the current omega agrees with it. Since there is no current omega that makes me the current omega.

Ein: But- Ugh! Fine! Just make sure to stay in your place you filthy human!

As Ein turned to walk away
Y/n spoke up with a smile.

Y/n: That's filthy omega to you!

Ein glared at the floor as he kept walking, Y/n smiled a small victorious smile before facing the pups behind her.

Dottie: Y-Y/n... are you sure you want to do this?

Rylan: Yeah- we could have taken him, you didn't have to do that!

Y/n: Guys- it's fine. If I didn't step in he would've made Daniel omega. And there is no way I'm letting that happen. Besides- I can hold my own in a fight. I'll be fine.

Daniel: B-But! You'll get hurt! You should've let me get chosen!

Y/n: Daniel- I'm your older sister. Do you really think I'm gonna stand by and let my little brother and his friends get picked on?

Daniel: N-No...

Y/n: Dang right I'm not!

Dottie and Rylan looked at their phones before worry covers their faces.

Dottie: Oh no! Guys- we're late for that test retake!

Daniel: Wait- that was today!?

Y/n: Oh jeez... remember- If you don't know the answer always assume it's C.

Y/n sighed and watched as her younger brother and his friends scramble to get to their after school class. She picked up her phone and texted her friends to stop their worrying.

Y/n: 'You need to chill. I'm only a few minutes late, it was just some Werewolf drama.'

Dante: 'Did they find out your secret?'

Y/n: 'No- they don't know I'm a werewolf if that's what you're asking. The only people that know are you, Daniel, and one other close friend of mine.'

Dante: 'Are you ever gonna tell me who your "one other close friend" is?'

Y/n: 'Nope. Now give five minutes- although it might take longer- I see the Alpha Female approaching me...'

Dante: 'Dude come on! I've been eating here by myself for like 20 minutes already!'

Y/n: 'Suffer.'

As Aphmau got closer Y/n put her phone up. Eventually Aphmau stopped in front of
Y/n with a small smile.

Y/n: What do you need Alpha?

Aphmau: I was wondering if you had seen Ein around somewhere. Me and him were supposed to pick a new omega together but I haven't seen him all day!

Y/n: Oh- I just talked to him about that. Don't worry about picking a new omega because I stepped up to fill the spot.

Aphmau: What!?

Y/n: I volunteered to be the new omega. I saw how much stress it was giving you so I decided to make it easier. Besides- I was the omega before Aaron basically volunteered. It's just my freshman year all over again. So it's cool.

Aphmau: Y/n- you didn't have to do that!

Y/n: It's good- now, I'm pretty sure Ein went in the direction of the Werewolf classroom to inform Mr.Gavin of the new omega. See ya around Alpha!

Aphmau: Bye Y/n!
