i woke up when i felt the bus making a turn, swerving the road.
the sudden movement pushed me closer to grayson, waking him up.
i didn't even realize i fell asleep on him. i mean i did. i just pretended not to know.
*insert winky face*
"sorry" i apologized for sleeping on his shoulder the whole ride.
then i realize he must have seen me sleeping. ahhhh. it's fine. it's fine.
"nah you're good. how's the sleep?"
"i didn't even feel anything. so yes"
he laughs. cutest thing ever.
wait what. no. i mean it's cute. everyone's cute.
...
the bus pulls over to our hotel.
"okay. ladies and gentlemen, today is our first day here at this beautiful destination. i know you're all very tired from this bus ride so i will give you 2 hours to rest. we'll meet at the lobby at 3!" our teacher explained.
tired? bahaha. i don't know about others but i slept the whole ride so i'm wide awake.
me, madelyn and grayson made our way to our room. madelyn pulled out the key given to us by the recieptionist to unlock the door, but she struggled.
"oh my. you really are dumb aren't you. here give it to me." i snatched the keys out of her hands.
she can't even unlock the doors, sometimes i wonder why ethan likes her.
i scanned the key card to the pad on the door.
'error'
"WHOS THE DUMB ONE NOW EMILA! HAH YOU IDIOT-" madelyn stopped probably because she heard how loud she was. we laughed.
"just give it to me." this time grayson snatched it out of my hand.
somehow the pads turned green. how did he do it? i literally did the same thing, this door is biased to hot guys.
"see? i'm the smart one. you guys just need a little practice."
"you probably know how to do it so clearly because you've fucked many chicks in hotels?"
i chuckled at maddie's comment. grayson said nothing but stared but joins in, laughing afterwards.

"MADDIE THERES A SWIMMING POOL!" i exclaimed. me and madelyn love pools. it'd be cool if we went together.
"yes! let's go" i went in the bathroom and changed into booty shorts and a sport bra that covered quite a lot of skin. i was never comfortable with showing too much of my body.

seeing her getting so excited about going to the pool is so adorable. even though i was a jerk to her before i think i'm starting to like her a lot.
she's unique, unlike the other girls, she doesn't care about guys. she's beautiful, without makeup, with makeup, in sweats, in hoodies, in dresses, basically she looks good in anything. the way her face lights up to the littlest things, it kills me.
i just wished i hadn't been so stupid before because now she has an image of me as a fuckboy and a pervert.
i'll show her that i've truly changed, and she was the reason.
i decided that i wanted to go to the pool with them too because i have time to kill.
"guys mind if i join?"
"of course grayson!" maddie replies, smirking at emila.
"we'll see you downstairs?" she asked. i nod and smile.

her body glistened as the sun was shining down on her. although she wasn't wearing bikinis or anything revealing, i still found it very attractive.
i caught myself staring and smile like a creep so i try looking around to distract myself.
i saw a field. green grasses flowing right and left as the sun was shining brightly towards us. how beautiful.
it reminds me of home. of my family.
words can't explain how much they mean to me. my family used to have picnics in fields similar to this.
how the time have changed.
before the death of my dad, i wasn't like this. i've changed. girls, parties, alcohol, they were never my thing.
i guess i needed a distraction from my dad.
thinking of it, my mom is probably so disappointed in me. countless hours of her trying to tell me how i should stop. never listened. i mean it's not too late but still.
i felt the urge to cry so i left and headed back to our room.

he was staring at me, i'm not surprised.
i didn't even wear anything that revealing. he looked around then left the pool.
"mad, he left." i told madelyn.
"so? who cares? hey! unless.. is someone in love?" she teases me.
"i should be asking you and ethan that Ms Garner." i replied looking straight at her, she grinned and starts blushing.
this ethan dude has such a affect on her.

pool was so fun but it was almost time for our gathering so it's best if we leave before getting late.
right before we try to get out, ethan came right in. as you can predict madelyn stayed.
i walked into our room, looked around, but i didn't see grayson. i start to call his name and search but i didn't see him.
i looked outside the balcony and there he was sitting with his heads to his knees covering his
face....
