Somewhere in the middle of a dimension that houses millions of demonic creatures, two siblings can be heard arguing inside their small abode. Their voices carried through the night, yet seemingly unheard by the surrounding civilization.
"Cross-breeding with a human is forbidden!" remarked Emma, Sylvia's younger sibling. "You should know that!" Sylvia knew it was wrong, but she would not let the love she created go to waste. The bond she formed with Jonathan was one not many demons get to experience.
"I am fully aware that my actions were careless and my head was certainly in the clouds, but we have created something that cannot simply be thrown away." She rubbed the lump that had begun to form in her womb. "A life."
Emma sighs, "You do know what the council will do to you if they find out right?" Emma massages her temples with her hands, "I don't want to lose the only sister I have!"
"It will be alright. If I can make it past the border in time, then no one will be the wiser." Sylvia pauses, "That is the only chance for me and Teresa. I want a life for her and I want to see what she becomes."
Emma sighs once more, "If that is what you truly believe sister, then I will fight you no longer, but you must promise me one thing."
"What is that Emma?"
"Do not abandon your daughter when she inevitably will need you. She will need all the assistance that she can get." Emma stops, "But most of all, make certain that you love her with a raging passion, else she will not love you in return."
"I promise. Teresa is the one thing in these worlds that I swear I will protect."
Suddenly there was a pounding on the front doors of their small hideaway.
"Sir Damien wishes to speak with the members of this household!" A harsh yell came from outside, "Resistance will be met with termination!!" With a loud thud and the sound of wood splintering, the door flew off it's hinges.
And so the tale of a Demon-born mother, a Human father, and their half-bred child begins.
