"I went upstairs to talk to my mom and a guy picked up the phone, a guy I've never even met. I told him who I was and he hung up, a couple minutes later my mom called me back and I asked her who it was and she told me it was her boyfriend. My mom has always told me everything but I didn't know she was even talking to guys anymore." I said
Elton looked at me with sad eyes.
"I'm sorry I probably sound like a brat but I am just really surprised my mom wouldn't tell me about something like that." I said
"no it's totally fine for you to feel that way." Elton said
I soon noticed we had an audience. They were trying to hide but it didn't really work.
"you guys know we can see you right?" Elton asked
they all tumbled out of their hiding place and Elton thought that was really funny.
"I'm sorry about your mom." Colby said
"it's okay I can talk to her about it more when I go home." I answered.
"we should invite Kevin and Brennen over." Colby said
"great idea mini pool party it's really hot today." Elton said
"one problem." I chimed in.
"what?" Sam asked
"I don't have a swim suit." I said
"omg, Tara Devyn and I are taking you to the mall like now and then we'll meet the guys back here and we can all hang out." Kat said
"cool." Elton said
"wait really?" I asked
"ya go it'll be fun." Elton said
"lets go!" Kat said dragging me out of the house.
"wait Kat!" I said
"what?" she asked
"shoes." I said looking down at my feet.
"oh ya." she said
I ran up to my room put on some shoes and grabbed my phone then ran down to the car where Kat was waiting.
"let's go!" I said
she started driving and we stopped to pick up Tara and Devyn.
"Omg, you look just like." Devyn said
"Elton?" I interrupted.
"Ya." Tara said
"he's my dad." I said
"Elton has a kid?!" Tara asked
"that's what I said." Kat said laughing.
"okay so what are we doing?" Devyn asked
"well we are going to the mall then back to the house for a mini pool party." Kat said
"ooh fun!" Tara said
we got to the mall and went into forever 21 they had some cool swim suits and I got this one.
