I wake up again in a dimly lit concrete cell which reeks as if it hasn't been cleaned in hundreds of years. I try to look for things within barren nothingness. I cough up this weirdly colored vomit which smells like toothpaste, but feels gelatinous. Too strange to be vomit, but it must be. What have these people been feeding me? A painfully loud screech rings in my ear which forces my hands to cover my ears on instinct. I hear the distorted murmurs of what I believe to be a female, but I have been wrong before. I cover my ears and attempt to scream for it to stop; the same weird gelatinous liquid chokes me up before I could get anything out. I fall to the floor and scream, "MMmakkakkk!" The screeches turn into a loud booming sound as a boiling hot stab is felt on both of my wrists. Without warning I am launched what seems to be 400 feet into the air at an inhuman speed. What is this, why is this happening to me? "Y̶O̶U̶'̶R̶E̶ F̶I̶N̶A̶L̶L̶Y̶ A̶W̶A̶K̶E̶," my boiling blood ran cold, almost as if someone stuck an ice cycle up my ass and gently twisted. "MAAAAACK," more of that vomit erupted from my stomach and out of my mouth, my blood turned hot again. "I̶T̶ H̶A̶S̶ B̶E̶E̶N̶ S̶O̶ L̶O̶N̶G̶ S̶I̶N̶C̶E̶ W̶E̶'̶V̶E̶ S̶P̶O̶K̶E̶N̶ T̶O̶ S̶O̶M̶E̶O̶N̶E̶"̲, came the ominous voice from my possible dream. W̶E̶'̶R̶E̶ S̶O̶ H̶A̶P̶P̶Y̶,̶ Y̶O̶U̶'̶R̶E̶ A̶L̶M̶O̶S̶T̶ G̶O̶I̶N̶G̶ T̶O̶ E̶X̶P̶L̶O̶D̶E̶, echoed the ominous voice in a fierce burst of high-pitched laughter.
"O-Oblivion," I muttered under my steadying breath before everything around me instantly returned to normal. I struggled to sit upright, my head darting everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It appears I've been strapped to a restraining bed again. "Damn it, who are you, people?" I yelled, demanding a response, but none came. I'm alone with only the pale white concrete walls surrounding me with what I can almost make out as being mold. The ringing returned quieter this time. This time with a welcoming and eerily calm male voice coming from a few visible holes carved into the wall in front of me, "You are safe, you are with us now." uttered the complete bullshit of whoever was talking to me. "If I am truly safe then, why the hell do you have me strapped to a damn bed again?" There was a pause so I continued, "I'm assuming you're talking to someone else, who are you?" I demanded again. "Sorry, you were thrashing around like a mad man. I had to strap you up for your safety; I'll be down shortly, hold on," and just like that I was left alone with my thoughts again. That man's voice sounds familiar. I'm so confused, afraid, completely isolated, and exposed at the same time. I do hope I'm safe, but from remembering my own experiences as of late, I begin to tear up a little from the instinctive fear that I'm merely just going to feel more pain again.
I hear a faint creak, and then a clank as I assume a large metallic door has been opened. An intense light gradually fills the room as the metal door hits the wall. "Don't touch me," I begged and pleaded, "Please!" He looked me in the eyes, and it's the same man from the last place I was in, the man that worked with doctor Nut sack. I don't remember much, but I can't forget that face! "YOU," I yelled and thrashed in a useless attempt to not allow his hands to touch me. "Tell me, what is the last thing you remember before everything changed," suggested the peculiar man. "Come on, I won't bite, I'm merely confirming something." This man, this odd man has fastened me to an interrogation chair. I gulped as some of that liquid tried to escape my mouth. "I-I remember, uh, going to bed and then waking up at that strange place!" I could feel the sweat pouring off of me at this point. The strange man took a handkerchief from his khaki pants and in a clam and disturbing tone he wiped my forehead. He carried on, "What day was it when you fell asleep?" his vision now stabbing my watery eyes, forcing me to subtly shift my eyes away to the far-right corner. I quickly spoke with the feeling as if this answer is the difference between life and death, "December 31st, 2020!" I winced as I gazed attentively at his slowly approaching eyes. He backed off and began fidgeting with the restraint that was keeping my left arm down. Once this crazy bastard releases me, I'm running for it. He released me from the last restraint that was holding me down, "Now don't run from me after I do this." I didn't give him the chance; I shot up and turned to prop myself onto the bed so I could spring off of the bed and onto my feet, I fell to the ground. "HAHAHA, I knew you would do that! Now instead of me walking carefully with you to your cell, Captain Ward is going to have to haul you in!" Ward, I recognize that name somehow, but I can't remember where I heard it before.
