Note: before you read just know that the bold words are just a fancy way for me to show the direct thoughts of the character

I'm about to fall asleep in my cozy bed, just to have that shifted into panic at the appearance of a very blinding bright light. For an instant, I just thought it's just my asshole of a brother waking me up to bark at me for being late for school, instead, there was only silence. I wake up and realized that I couldn't move, nothing was holding me down, I'm just frozen. I panic, but the panic only manifested on the inside, with a little bit sweat just starting to run down my forehead. Suddenly a distant voice decided to let it be heard. I can hardly make out what the voice was saying, with the paralysis, and the blinding light, my situation is apparent, whatever is happening my senses were blocked. Now that I have heard a voice, another voice manifested alongside it and I think to myself that maybe it was better that I didn't sit up, allowing me to alert this unknown threat. I need to calm down. I start to take a couple of deep breaths, each breath being slightly longer than the others. My heart rate slowed down and the panic began to subside, but it didn't last long as I notice the voices are drawing closer and closer. So close in fact that I can now distinguish individual footsteps coming to a stop right next to my bed.
The panic washed over me again as I can now make out what appears to be the shape of a person to my right, and another to my left. The blinding light doesn't allow me to pick apart facial features, or even if the people that are now examining me are even people. I can see my left eyelid moving apart with an object in front of it. I can't feel it, but I know that my eyelid is being opened by the figure on my left. I feel something hitting my eye, causing it to instinctively blink. The same process was now being done on my right eye after the figure on the left gave something to the figure to the right of me. I hear the voices with instant clarity now. "Alright, that should do it, he should be able to hear us now." came the deep tones of the man from my right. I swiveled my eyes from left to right as I just now have been given control of them. "Soon you will be able to see us, even smell us." came the higher pitch of a woman, or a young man. I let out some noise from my mouth, but they were quickly hushed by my lips. The man spoke once again, but this time in a menacing tone, "That's right, scream all you want, let us know you're healthy." With him saying that it lets off all kinds of alarms within me. But it's useless, no matter how many times my brain yells at my body, I couldn't move an inch. I kept screaming and screaming, just trying to make my body move, but it was no use. The male voice appeared before me, amused by how futile my attempt was, " Are you trying to move?" he let out a loud and deafening cackle as if he was going to go insane just at the thought. His chilling words formed through his cackling, "As much as I'd love to see you squirm about, there's no way that the procedure could go on if you were to get in the way." The procedure, what the hell does he mean by the procedure? Was I already cut open? The reassuring voice of the woman filled my ears with a calming and almost motherly tone, "Don't worry, the operation is already over, he's just trying to make you nervous." A slight sigh came from the man, whom of which I can now see. The man is white and old, the features on his face or lack of features separated him from any other face that I've seen before. The man has no hair, not even on his eyebrows, and he wore a long, black lab coat. The woman on my left wasn't a woman, surprisingly, she's a young man. This man looks more normal than the other guy does, by a long shot. He has short brown hair and a pair of black-rimmed glasses, he operated on me, but at least he didn't look like a fucking shaved testicle.
"All we have to do now is inject you with some more Noxtrait, just to ensure you don't move around as much," came the oddly calming voice of the man on the left.
