Project

To avoid an abundance of public criticism, Label V discouraged project collaboration between any male WayV members with Momoko. Label V were already aware of public issues regarding a female member in a male dominant group, so wanted to not further fuel the fire. At first, the members were angered by the statement and vehemently opposed the instruction, even with Momoko's reassurance about the issue. Despite not having a partner, she wanted to make her project as detailed and prepared as possible, especially after she saw her talented group members' projects. Also, Momoko wanted fans to see another side of her personality by filming the entire development of her project.

Momoko was determined to do her very best with planning and executing her performance perfectly, but her group members made that a difficult task. Especially, her younger group members (Yangyang and Hendery) because they would continuously interrupt her dance practices to make her frustrated. It got to the point where she locked every entrance into the practice room and only let the cameraman in.

Despite the minor distractions, Momoko perfected her project within a week and would mess around with her members. Many WAYV fans loved the interactions between Momoko and her members, especially with her little brothers. The overwhelming encouragement for the coed group to interact relieved them and they are more excited for the second season of Rainbow V.

Momoko's Rainbow V Project

Before Momoko debuted as a main vocalist for WayV, she was a talented dance major who passionately trained to debut. Although she was known for her powerful vocals and diverse pitch range, the fans were not fully aware of her skills and knowledge of different dance styles. Unlike her group members, she independently choreographed and managed her Rainbow V project.

When preparing for the project, she kept her project hidden from her members, even when she wanted advice on certain dance movements. Therefore, she would reach out to two of her friends whom were also talented dancers, and they critiqued her choreography and offered some helpful advice. Many of the members, mainly YangYang and Ten, were a little hurt that she didn't ask for their advice until she explained that she wanted to surprise them. Even though they understood her intentions to keeping her project hidden, it didn't alleviate their curiosity regarding her skills and creativity.

The most amount of information her members knew about her project was only the song, which shocked them because it had a more feminine theme and appeal that they were used to. Moreover, the song was a  different style of music that Momoko studied and they became more curious about her Rainbow V project.

The male members of WayV first saw her project when it was released on their YouTube channel, which was the last project that was released of season one. Her members were amazed by the duality of the choreography, and easily understood why she chose to choreograph the song for her project. Immediately after watching, the members knew that the fans would love Momoko's project because of the amount of fan service she offered throughout the video. The main dancers of WayV admired Momoko's diverse knowledge and skills in dance, meanwhile the main vocals and rappers of the group were amazed by her talents. They understood why SM Entertainment urgently wanted to sign Momoko and why China's top dance programs wanted Momoko.

Needless to say, her passion and talent was easily expressed throughout the season. The fans, Weishenies, immersed themselves into the series not only for the male members, but also for Momoko's charming talents. Her male members were amazed by her dance talents, and were more excited for future Rainbow V projects.

Author's Note

I apologize for the lack of updates, but I'm hoping to create a schedule for regular updates for the chapters.

Please look forward to the next update, which I'm hoping is the WayV Relationship and the NCT relationship. Also, please offer some suggestion for possible chapters or scenarios you would like to read. I have limited ideas for the scenarios, so please enlighten me.

Finally, STAN APPLE YANG! When I watched her choreography videos, I immediately loved her style and thought it perfectly matched Momoko's character.
