I didn't put it last time, but please be respectful. I don't want to here anything about how bad this is (which it isn't and I'll get into why people think it's bad and why people in your life may make you feel bad about it). Okay, now onto the next chapter:
This is just a small FAQ that'll be helpful as I explain more.
Q: Is this a religion?
A: No, witchcraft is the craft of being a witch. Some people do practice a religion and that's more than fine! Some people don't, that's also fine!
Q: Do you have to practice Wicca or Paganism to be a witch?
A: Nope! Like I said last time, you don't have to practice a religion you can also practice a religion and still be a witch.
Q: Do witches make deals with Satan?
A: ...No. Obviously different witches practice different religions but in general Satan has nothing to do with witchcraft. If you've still got some religious guilt (don't feel bad, this totally used to be me), I recommend you work through that first and then start this practice.
Q: Do I need any tools? And if so which ones?
A: Do you have yourself and are you committed to learning? Then you've got everything you need! You don't need any tools although many witches do have some. It's good to have them if you need them to assist you with whatever you're doing, but they are not a necessity.
Q: What do witches do?
A: Witchcraft can be as simple as wind chimes and simple incantations to complex spells and rituals.
Q: Is magick evil?
A: Haha, no. Magick is a lot like people, not good or evil. How you use it is important, but it's not evil.
Q: Do you need to be part of a coven to be a witch?
A: No, some witches are part of covens. And different covens work differently with their own set of rules. A witch that isn't part of a coven isn't any less witchy because of that nor does that mean that they've done anything wrong because they aren't part of one.
Q: Do witches perform sacrifices?
A: Do we kill living organisms? No, some of us use alchemy (don't ask me cause I don't know anything about that), but we don't kill things and the closest thing we have to a sacrifice are rituals.
