Chapter 4- Roses

Till a rose petal falls from his mouth...
Kirishima goes pale faced. No, no nope this can't be happening. This only happens in movies and fanfiction. He can't have this... hanahaki disease.
Nope. He is dreaming this is all a dream. It's fine. The shaken boy decides to actually go to sleep.
The sun shines in his eyes once again. He sits up, and the pain in his chest is gone. He sighs in relief "it was just a dream" he checks his phone to see any new messages.

1 new messages from Kami
2 new messages from Katsu

And there it is again. The leap in his heart and the pain in his chest. It doesn't hurt as badly but still uncomfortable. He checks the message from Kaminari first.

Kami: we gonna hang today bro?

Oh shit Kirishima completely forgot about that. God. He's gotta tell him what's going on. He might have an idea of what's going on. But then again.. he's Kaminari.

Kiri: oh yea totally man. 1 good?

He goes to look at Bakugos texts with a little bit of caution.

Katsu: hey... I want you to know, I'm sorry. I really do care about you a lot. I just... nevermind. I'm just really sorry.
Kastu: text me when your awake okay?

    And the pain gets stronger. "Water, maybe I just need more water" he says to himself as he gets up t drink some water. It does help a bit but not much.
    "Hey bro!" Kaminari greets. Kirishima greets him with a weak smile. "I uh... need to talk to you about something dude...". Kaminari looks at him a little confused as they walk up the stairs. Kirishima pulls out the rose petal and shows it to him. "This, came out of my mouth last night...".
"What?!" That stuff only happens in fanfiction!?"
"Yeah that's what I thought! But here I am, coughing up a rose petal." Kirishima pulls out his phone and pulls up the texts from last night. As Kaminari looks through it, Kirishima grips his arm. "This is why dude" he finally looks up. He quickly goes to safari and looks up hanahaki disease flowers. He shows his best friend the screen.

ROSE- Roses symbolizes deep love. Flower only dies if love becomes requited or victim stops loving them. Can be surgically removed. Side effects include, losing feelings, along with memories of the person. If not removed or requited in time victim will die of suffocation from the flower growing in their lungs.

"So I'm basically screwed" Kirishima says.
    Kaminari soon leaves and Kirishima is left to himself...
