when josh came back, you and him talked for the hour that was left until you were let onto the plane. turns out, his seat was behind you.

y-i know this might be weird because we just met but can i hold your hand while we take off? its just i hate flying and im by my self and...
j-yea thats fine. im not the biggest fan of flying either.

just before the safety briefing, josh noticed that the seat next to you was still empty so he moved in next to you. you couldn't help but smile and blush because he chose to sit next to you instead of his friends.

j-why you smiling?
y-nothing

just as you agreed, josh held your hand during take-off but you kept ahold of his hand, just because it felt nice. he asked if you were ok, you nodded and he kelp his hand in yours.

y-i think he likes me. dont jinx it.

Josh's POV
j-wow. i really like this girl. wait, what if she doesn't like me? she would have moved her hand by now right?

josh turned around and spoke to his best friends sam hurley and anthony reeves, talking quietly so you couldn't overhear.

j-yo. boys. i like her. a lot  what do i do?
s-ye. we know. we can see you two lovebirds holding hands right now.

j-stop! she's gonna hear you!

j-how?
s-dude. signs. very, very, very obvious signs. you also giving that vibe
j-is it a good vibe?

s-anthony!

s-actually wait, yeah same
j-come on help meeeee
*you tap josh's shoulder*
y-josh
j-yea *he turns to face you*
y-can i use your shoulder as a pillow?
j-yeah sure. of course
y-omg thank you
j-no problem

you and josh sleep the rest of the flight
