~Amy's pov~
It felt like Sonic Forces all over again! I mean literally! Sonic was capture for 6 months and we got him back but now, Sonic in his dark form for at least 11 months. It was December and it was almost Christmas. We all know we tried to get in touch with Sonic but it hasn't been working well. "What are we gonna do?" Silver asked and we all shrugged. "People lost trust in Sonic seeing him in his Dark form. We all lost our spirit." Charmy had said. "NOT YET! We can't give up! Sonic wouldn't let us give up! He would have said never give up!" Tails yelled. "I still believe in Sonic! We will get through this!" Tails said as he walked to the table. "But how? We tried to bring back people's spirit and tried to defeat Eggman." Blaze said as she reminded us of our failures. "I agree. But we need to raise people's spirit." Shadow said as Espio nodded. "Shadow is right. We have to work together and think of a plan." Espio suggested. Knuckles growled. "But we can't take it anymore. People can't take anymore of terror and fear! They need miracle, they need spirit, they need heroes.....and that's why were here for. Sonic wanted us to keep fighting no matter what obstacles are in our way." Knuckles said as he reminded of how hero Sonic was. "Knuckles is right! We need to find a way to remind Dark Sonic of his hero self! Maybe we can get him back! There has to be a chance! There has to he a way to get him back!" Tails said confidently about getting Sonic back. "Sonic is counting on us guys! He knows we will keep on trying!" Amy said as she smiled.
~meanwhile at Eggman's base~
~Dark Sonic's Pov~
Things were going perfectly with Eggman's plan. We had people terrorized and in fear. We had ruled Mobius for 11 months. I finally had gotten rid of Sonic. Sonic was now lost, quiet, alone in the mind. He still had believe in his friends but was slowly losing trust and belief in his friends. I knew someday Sonic would lose trust in his friends but somehow seeing Sonic sad had reminded me something. Ever since we were created. I was there by his side let alone letting Tails in his life so I convinced him to believe his friends will get him. The mind control was still intact but I had a will of my own in the mind realm. Sonic agreed but said hopefully the mind control will break free. I didn't want Sonic to lose his friends so I knew I would have to keep his spirit and belief keep going. That's when I realized, his strength came from his friends to help him strive through any battle. He is so lucky to have his friends help him.
