' October 2 , one month earlier'
" Bye mom! Bye dad be home before 10'o'clock me and Karter have a surprise for you love birds. Ps its for your anniversary. Stay safe LOVE YOU!" I scream. I can't believe it's there 60th anniversary. Me and Karter have pictures of them from when they first met in a scrap book. We made it look like a beautiful gold antique book. We also set up our garden with a blanket in the back yard for them to just spend time together. All we have to do now is wait.
**3hrs later**
I heard the phone ring and went over to pick it up. Well the person on the phone told me what I didn't want to hear. I screamed and fell to the floor crying hysterically. My brother rushed in and picked up the phone. He let the man explain and hung up. He pulled me up and held me in his arms for a bit. We when to the hospital and saw our now dead parents.
When they were coming home, a drunk driver ran a red light and crashed into them. The car had such impact it killed them instantly. It was there anniversary and they never got to see there book of memories. Now there dead and forever gone.'

Everything I see in this small town reminds me of them and that terrible day. The only one I have left is my brother 'Karter Lamr'. He is leaving for college soon and I don't want to hold him back. Everything just when down hill when the accident happened.
I know I have to leave this town. To get a new life and new beginning. I'll start fresh , like a fresh breeze on a summer day. That's what I'll do , start new.

I quickly run to my bedroom and think of where to move. I am 20 so it is legal for me to leave. I grab my phone and call my friend Carly Baysher. I talk to her about the travesty and how I need to move for a new beginning. She gladly excepts.

I'm moving to New York City for a new beginning. One step to a new beginning
