The past two months took its toll on Ashley. She dropped out of dance school, stopped talking to her friends and stayed in her flat for days on end. Too scared to venture out. She does not remember much about that night. She remembers blond hair and a black suite, but that is about it. Today was the day her father was sending her to live in Forks. He thought it would be best for her to get away from Boston and away from memories.

" He does not realise that, not matter where I am. Those memories will stay with me forever." She whispered to herself. She walked over to a mirror. She was wearing light blue jeans with a black vest top. A grey cardigan was over her shoulders. She reached up to her forehead and ran her fingers over the scabbing gash on her forehead. The stitches were out but there was still red. The doctors had told her that it was going to leave a scar.

Her flat was empty now with the few essential things left. It was dull and grey, almost like how she was feeling. There was the sound of a horn sounding through the air. She looked out her window and grabbed her bag. She opened the front door and looked at her flat one last time before she walked out and closed the door.

The taxi journey to Fork was long and quite. Not one word was uttered between her and the driver. Ashley just looked out the window and watched the landscapes fly by. Soon the drove into a small town called Fork. This was were she will spend the next part of her life at. The car pulled to a stop outside a small house. It was built out of old stones and looked very homely. She got out the taxi and went for her purse.

" It has already been paid for." The driver said and drove off. Ashley turned around and walked up to the door. She took out her new key and put it into the look. She opened the door and walked inside. There was a small note on the table where she placed her keys.

Ashley,
I hope you settle into this house nicely,
I am sorry that i cannot be there. You
start school tomorrow so be ready.

Love Pappy

Ashley shook her head and placed the paper back down.

" I really wish he would stop calling himself that." She said and walked through the house. It was modern with a antique feel about it. It was very nice and Ashley loved it. She walked over to the kitchen and into the fridge, only to find it was empty. Rolling her eyes, she walk back over to the door and on the back of the front door was another note.

Also if you are going to the shops, take your new car.

It said, Ashley rolled her eyes and saw the keys hanging next to the note. She picked them up and walked out her house. She saw her new silver Audi A1. She smiled at her new toy as she hopped into the drivers seat. She started the engine as buzzed off to the store. Once she pulled into the parking lot, she jumped out her car and walked over to the shop door. Ash grabbed a basket and began to shop for her food and drinks. She picked up a can of tomato soup and looked at it.

" Hey, your new right?" A voice spoke behind her. She turned around to see a man dressed in a grey shirt and jeans. He had brown hair and golden eyes. His skin was pale white and flawless. He smiled to Ashley.

" Yes, just moved. Ashley, Ashley smith but you can call me Ash." She smiled to him.

" Edward Cullen." he said smiling gently. He nodded and walked to the end of the aisle.

" It was nice meeting you." He said. Ashley nodded and walked to the other side of the aisle. She finished what she was doing and paid for it all. As she walked out she saw Edward getting into his car. Sitting in the passenger seat was a man with blond hair. Ashley stopped for a moment when she saw his face.

" Blond hair?" She whispered. A flash back of blond hair sprung into her mind. Edward looked at her funny, then his head snapped his the man next to him. The blond guys eyes snapped from Edward to Ashley His golden eyes looked to her. Her heart skipped a beat. Ash quickly snapped out of it and ran to her car.

" Its about time! " Jasper called out to Edward as he jumped into his car. Edward smiled.

" Just meet the new girl in town." Edward said. Jasper followed his eyes, then back to Edward. Jasper saw Edwards face fall from a smile.

" Jasper, she knows you? She remembers your blond hair. She seemed to be on the ground looking up at you. She was in distress." Edward said to him. Jasper looked to Edward. His eyes snapped to this girl in front of them. She was staring at him. Jasper felt something strange.

" Drive Edward. I need to see Carlisle." Jasper said. Edward nodded and looked to see what he was thinking. Edward did not like how this might turn out.
