Harry

We continiued with our classes. Potions- disastrous as always, Transfiguration - difficult, lunch, History of magic- time to go to sleep- and finally -break! I couldn't stop thinking about the photo. I showed it to Ron and Hermione. They didn't think much of it. Hermione even awwed at it. I wasn't so sure about it just being a cute couple picture.

Something seemed... off.

Our teacher should be happy with a girl like that, but all I could see was sadness in his eyes. He was hiding his sorrow and pain, behind the mask of humor and happiness. A mask I learned how to master through the years. Not necessarily for the same reason.

I also noticed that there were dark spots on the photo. Tears, I thought. Suddenly I felt sorry for this guy. Maybe the girl broke up with him, or worse-died. I didn't even want to know. Just kidding- curiosity had already taken over me. I might as well follow it's lead, before it devours me on the inside. A thing, I knew would have happened. I decided to sneak out of the dorm one night (the sooner the better), accompanied with the invisibility cloak and Ron or Hermione (it couldn't fit all of us anymore). For this to happen, I needed to destroy their scepticism.

I needed proof that something is wrong.

Time skip

At dinner I, as always, sat with Ron, Hermione and Ginny. Hermione was talking about the exams at the end of the year (Hermione it's the first day!), Ron was pretending to listen to her, but he actually was paying all of his attention to the food. Ginny was telling me about her quidditch training and I was actually interested. You see, each person in my team was having individual training sessions with Oliver Wood. You remember him, right? The captain of the team, when I arrived at Hogwarts. Well, he wasn't accepted in UK's national team, so he came back to the school to be a teacher. Wow, it seems like we have two young teachers now.

Speaking of which, Jackson was actually on the teachers' dinner table and was eating... blue chicken and blue potatoes? What the bloody hell? I decided I couldn't wait anymore. After the dinner, I would sneak into the teachers' room. I hoped that our professor would give me a piece of info, without even knowing it.

Time skip

I rushed out of the Great Hall, as soon as the dinner was over. I ran to the teachers' room, shrouding myself i with the invisibility cloak as I did. I stopped at the door and bingo! I saw professor Flitwick walking down the hall. I would sneak in with him. The teacher walked in, followed by me. I stood in one of the corners of the room. I was currently listening to a conversation between Hagrid and Slughorn, about the Giant African slugs. I was about to head out, along with professor Sprout, but I heard McGonagoll's voice.
"What do you mean Perseus?"
" I mean what I told you. Someone had enchanted my classroom, to make it look like a... certain place."
Wood entered the conversation

" It's You-know-who again, isn't it Minerva?"

" Not possible Oliver. Potter and his friends killed him last year. The Dark Lord is gone for good this time. "
I noticed the confusion on Jackson's face. My invisible jaw dropped. Did he not know of Voldemort?! It was impossible. Even the Americans must have heard about The Dark Lord.

Back to the conversation! The new teacher hid his confusion pretty well, but I still noticed it. He started talking again.

" I think I know who did it. I am almost sure about it and the reasons behind that message on the chalkboard."
" What message, Perseus? You never mentioned a message." McGonagoll asked.

Jackson gulped. His face paled and his fists clenched.
"You want her back, Jackson? That's what the message said." he answered.
Professor McGonagoll realised it was a touchy subject, so she asked him quetly if it's OK for him to tell her who that "she" was.

" She was my Wise girl." Jackson answered "My Annabeth."
" What happened to her?" McGonagoll carefully asked. The other teacher winced. It was apparently a very touchy subject.

" She went missing. I looked for her for months, but I never found her. She meant everything to me. I couldn't bear loosing her. " A few tears were trying to get out of his eyes. "I am sorry, but I gotta go back to my chamber." He got out of the room, and I left shortly after him with another teacher. Ron and Hermione must know about this.

Percy

I crashed into my bed and cried my eyes out. In almost an year I haven't said Her name. And I was having an emotional breakdown. So I cried myself to sleep, one of my thoughts was about the my new pair of scars I was about to receive in my sleep by Tartarus. I closed my eyes and let 'the fun' begin.

FINALLY AN UPDATE! Sorry for the long wait guys. I recently had many tests in school and couldn't think about the story. The next chapter will have a large time skip in it, so be prepared. BTW, from now on I am gonna leave a famous quote from random fandoms I am part of (which is a lot) and a picture of the person who said the quote. Now there you go, enjoy a GoT quote and a picture of Robb Stark. (My favourite character from the fandom, along with Dany)

Love's not always wise, I've learned. It can lead us to great folly, but we follow our hearts ... wherever they take us.
