" one more week until Evan comes back" I say marking away the day

Wow did I just fangirl a little bit? I did not just fangirl,what the hell is wrong with me.

I heard the cries of Maia,yes I know their names now,that broke Me away from my thoughts.

"Okay Maia stop crying" I say picking her up

I sat down in the nursery chair trying to rock her back to sleep but she was still crying non-stop

"Ugh okay do you want food" I gave her the bottle but she wouldn't take it

I tried everything there is know to man,or woman,to calm this child down. I heard a knock at the door

"Yes?" I say opening the door

I was surprised to see who it was. Isabel was at my door with an angry face.

"Hey sweets I thought you would never come for me" I say leaning against the door

"Well trust me this was the last thing I would have liked to do on my list" she said "now. where's. my. phone"

"Why don't you come in" I say

"No, no fucking way. Do you know how hard it was to find you" she yelled "its been a fucking week, a week since I haven't had my phone and your telling me to come in?"

"Okay, okay Look just calm down,come in and I'll give you your phone back"

I moved aside so she could get in. I went upstairs to get the phone from the bedroom. It was fully charged since we had the same kind of phone.

"Here's your-" she wasn't here anymore

I looked everywhere even in the dishwasher but there was no luck.

"Isabel. Isabe-" I finally found her in the kids room. She was sitting in the chair rocking Maia back and fourth.

"Are you a wizard or something"

She looked up at me before putting Maia down and taking her phone "its called having a mothers touch"

She walked out the room and made her way to the door.

"Wait" I pulled her back

By her stare I could she she was getting annoyed with everything that happened so far.

"Um can I ask you something"

I make my way outside to meet Evan. He was getting the bags out the car when he turned to see me.

"Evan" I yelled

"Mason"

He dropped the luggage and ran over to me. We gave each other a hug while crying.

"I've missed you"he said

"Me too" I say wiping the tears away

"Are you guys done yet cause I need help over here" Priscilla said

We let go of each other and cleared are throats before heading over to help with the bags. After sitting all the bags down we went into the kitchen to get something to drink.

"So how was your trip" I asked

"It was amazing really. Hawaii is very beautiful" Priscilla said

"Did you bring,oh I don't know, souvenirs by chance"

"We sure did"

Priscilla handed me a bag and I was so excited to see what I had gotten but it wasn't something that I expected,and when I say I didn't expect it I mean I damn neared cried at the sight of the T-shirt.

"You like?" She asked

"Well-" I was interrupted by Isabel

"Hey loser-Oh was I interrupting something" she asked embarrassed

"Nope, come on in" I gestured

"No thanks, I just wanted to say that I'll be going,that's all"

"Well I'll see you off then" I said

I walked her out the door and waited till she drove off

"So this is what you were doing the entire time I was gone" Evan raised a brow

"Now before you get the wrong idea,she's been helping me since you've been gone" I say

"Don't worry you don't have to lie I won't get mad but tell me."

"Tell what?" I say confused

"Where did you meet such a fine-"

"Excuse me?" Priscilla said

"I-I mean she would never compare to my beautiful wife, who I love so much"

She walked away rolling her eyes as Evan tried to catch up to her.

"Nice save Evan, really nice save"
