–>> Red String of Fate...
\\♡⭕♡//
Are story begins on a serene pathway, next to the beautiful Adison River, one of the wonders in Paris.
Y/n and Arthur were just walking back from a jewelry shop, well actually Y/n- you know what just read the story....
"Come on Vic, let's go." I say heading out the door. I can't believe he brought me here to spend time with me, just to flirt with another woman- who claims he's a commoner?!
So were all those days, all those memories nothing? I thought we'd made it clear of are affection but apparently it was nothing.
"Y/n- Y/n wait up.."
I stopped my walking, Arthur catching up to me and Vic. "Why'd you leave like that? It couldn't be that you gone njealous? Is it?" He asks, that same sly grin on his face.
"Well Vic I don't know what to say. What do you think? Am I jealous or am I upset." I ask Vic, but she just barks in response. Of course I mean she is a dog. (Idk if Vic a girl or boy yet)
I continue to walk but from the corner of my eyes I spot Arthur still standing there, sighing. "By Jove, I guess the old silent treatment can only mean one thing.. just so you know that women means nothing to me.
That makes me stop.
"I'm a commoner because I normally stop by either with Theo, Vince or even if Comte sends me. I just look around but it seems as if [[Vivian taken a liking to me."
I know they are not on first name base.]]
That part in the brackets aren't in the story but I feel it would be funny to put that in. Yes her name is Vivian. Now back to the story.
"..the owner tooken a liking to me." Arthur finishes, now in front of me. "Now tell me dear Y/n why would the wolf go for sheep?" Not another of his games...
And this time, I'm stuck.
"I don't really no why.."
"Hm, not the right answer but I'll tell you the wolf wouldn't. Because the rabbit is more closer then the sheep will ever be."
The deeper meaning of Arthur words sank in...
The wolf, in this case Arthur wouldn't go for the sheep: jewelry owner. And the rabbit would be me- he wouldn't be with the jewelry owner for he knows me much more then her.
Now I feel bad for ignoring him.
"I'm sorry." I say weakly, as I lift my head to face him. "What for?" He asks, a perplexed look on his face. "Well for starters I jumped to many conclusions and ignored you! It was truly bad of me and im-"
The sound of Arthur laugh fills the night sky."Why are you laughing?" I ask as he looks at me. "You're so adorable you know that right?"
How did me being adorable had anything to do with my apology?
He lets out another hearty chuckle before wrapping his hands around my waist pulling my body close to his.
"What are you?-"
His face gets close to my earlobe as his voice takes on a seductive aura, "Now just hush and take the compliment."
Those words alone could have the power to send my body melting, after all this is the closest we've ever been before.
"Let me tell you a story.. it was a very popular folk take of the sorts in my time. The possibility that a red string could lead two possible souls together. All in the act of love.."
"You mean like a Red String of Fate?" I ask, "That connects soulmates?"
"Precisely." Arthur answers, but with one quick movement he unties my scarlet ribbon on my hair.
"In this case this ribbon connect two souls with a unending love for each other." He explains tying one end to my pinkie. "And for the other end will be on the pinkie of your other lover?" I ask as he nods again.
I take the end of my ribbon and tie it over Arthur's gloved finger. "Well I guess we are connected now?"
His face forms shock, then quickly turns into a grin. "Well aren't I a lucky fellow?" He says, laughing out in the open. I join in as well let's this night become carefree.
I loved Arthur, and sure we could have moments but in the end we will always be together, forever and no one can change that.
The night moon was up and the only noise that filled the air was the light ripples of the rivers waves. Are couple sharing a tender kiss under the stars, enjoying this moment and making it last...
Fin.?-
"Well Y/n we don't want to keep the ol' chap worrying, better scurry about, yeah?"
"Right!"
Vic followed as we all ran down the brick sidewalk...
Uhm okay then, well...
