"Alright Antonio, I want you to channel your power Channel the culture of Espero, make Jamie fall asleep. You said siestas are important, but this time try to make someone else sleep instead of yourself." Lucy laughed at the memory while Antonio blushed from embarrassment.

"Please don't remind me... Jamie already teases me enough." Antonio was in a fighting stance, dressed in a white shirt with black pants. Across from him was Jamie, who was laughing at the memory of Antonio making himself fall asleep last time they'd practiced their magic in a duel.

"Oh man, I will never forget that day, I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard! I'd honestly call that a win for you because I passed out from laughing so hard, so you did end up incapacitating your opponent. When you count yourself, you knocked out two people in one go!" Jamie held her stomach laughing.

Jess and Lucy were acting as referees to the friendly duel between Jamie and Antonio, but they both couldn't help but laugh. "Now Jamie, remember you're not perfect either. Remember last month when you used your green blast and it hit a deer instead of Yukino? I knew green was associated with sickness, but I've never seen a deer puke before." Lucy reminded everyone.

Jamie grimaced. "Poor thing... Then again, I'm glad I didn't hit Yukino with that. It was only supposed to make someone a little queasy."

Lucy immediately regretted bringing it up. She walked to Jamie's side and put her arm around her shoulder. "That's why we practice Jamie, and we've worked on green for this whole month. You got orange and purple down, mastering each emotional response from those colors we could find. You've already mastered jealousy with green. When you can master sickness, you'll be able to weaken an opponent's body and mind without causing physical damage to them. You haven't made anything puke or caused any harm besides a tummy-ache in weeks, but you have to believe in yourself. Magic is based on what we want it to do, so believe you're gonna make Antonio a little queasy before he makes you fall asleep, okay?"

Jamie had been through a lot of pep talks over the last five months, and she hated them, but she'd grown to really trust Lucy. In fact, she felt reliant on her, indebted to her. Lucy had given her the chance to make friends, renewed her hope, and had put her on the path to loving herself, even just a little. So when Lucy told her to do something, Jamie would always at least try.

"Okay. Sorry in advance Antonio." Lucy looked sad, about to call off the duel if she was still unsure of herself, but Jamie continued. "You're gonna have a nasty stomachache."

Lucy smiled and returned to stand with Jess, who was smiling brightly too. Antonio reinforcing his sparring stance. "Then allow me to offer my apologies as well Miss Jamie, a nap at this time of day might ruin your sleep schedule."

Jamie smiled in return, "Okay Princey, no hard feelings over whatever happens. If I fall asleep make sure to get me to my bed before my neck cramps up and I'll have stomach medicine for you if I succeed."

Antonio bowed. "I will we awaiting the outcome. We're ready whenever you are referees."

Lucy turned to Jess. "This is practice for you too. You have to keep your protection on her mind, but allow Antonio's magic in, otherwise Antonio is fighting a one-way battle where Jamie is guaranteed to be safe. Just, focus on the fact that Antonio isn't going to hurt Jamie. When you're ready, let me know."

Jess nodded and made eye contact with Jamie, who gave her a smile and a nod. Jess took a deep breath and concentrated, and when she thought she was ready, turned back to Lucy. Lucy raised her arm in the air. "Alright guys, you know the drill. Antonio, siesta her, and Jamie, make him sick to the stomach, alright? On three... one, two, three!"

Antonio's body began to glow. He raised his arm which glowed gold and aimed it towards Jamie, who was holding her green hand towards him. They both shot a blast of magic towards each other, and in a flash of gold and green, their duel was over. When Lucy could see past the glowing, she saw a snoring Jamie passed out on the ground and Antonio curled up with his arms wrapped around his stomach. Jess ran to check on Jamie while Lucy wrapped her arms around her chest, smiling proudly.
