Scars (Soulmate AU)

Slenderman woke up at 10pm. His usual time, he got up and got ready, looking in the mirror at the scar now present on his face from the attack a while back and he sighed but continued on.

He walked out of his room and headed for the main room, which were a few floors downs, so he teleported and watched Jeff jump out of the seat and fall over the back. Ben laughed at him before running as fast as he could away from Jeff. Slender sighed...this is the same as every other day. So following the fixed routine, he left to go 'hunt'...

Lilith was once again being chased, even deeper into the forest now. James still chasing her with his friends, but today he wasn't doing it for fun...but out of blind rage. Today was the day Lilith decided to get her own back and snuck a rather large spider into his bag. Scaring him. So he chased her and she feared for her life.

"You're so dead!" James called to her, she panted and continued to run, until she tripped on the root of a tree... James laughed and slowed to a jog, steadily catching up.
"Oh you pathetic excuse of a human..." He chuckled, then he knelt over her and sneered.
"I'm going to make your regret what you did for the rest of your life..."

"Oh will you now?" A voice cut in from within the surrounding trees. James looked at his friends and they went to find whoever was talking, so they ventured out. Only a couple minutes past and screams erupted through the dark night and James paled.
"Now... tell me again, what were you going to do to this girl?" The voice spoke. James then gulped, Lilith lie on the ground, scared to move but noticed as James stared at something. Then it was as though something clicked before he started laughing and got up running away. Lilith then looked around to see a very tall figure walking away.

"Wait!" She called after him. He stopped  and Lilith got up and ran up to him, she hugged his arm.
"Thank you..." She said, then let go. The man nodded his head.

"No problem, but you should get home. It's not safe out here at night." He said, Lilith nodded her head then saw blood on the tree and got a bit scared.

"Before I leave...can I ask one thing?" She heard a hum coming from him, meaning for her to go on.
"What happened to James and his friends?"

"Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe James was the one pinning you down, he then sent his two friends into my forest to find me which if you find then, you can still see the fear from their final moments. And James, well, whilst he was staring at me I sent a wave of my radiation to him and he went insane." He explained. Lilith stood there, scared for her life.

"F-final moments?" She asked. She saw him nod.

"Yes, it's that what you humans call it? 'Final moments before you die' sort of a thing?" He said, a little confused. Then Lilith started to panic a little.

"Y-you killed them..." She stuttered.

"Of course dear. That's what I do...I kill. You are my only exception." He said, his back still facing her. She frowned as angry boiled up inside her.

"Why?!" She yelled, just then the being turned around and she realised, he had no face. His paper white head, had no face.... But what really caught her eye was one particular side of his head... On his left he had a scar going down to where his mouth should be...in the exact same place as her own scar.

"I don't know the answer to that... I just can't kill you. I saw you here a couple days ago and I tried to kill you for trespassing...but I couldn't bring myself to do it. But what really confused me was the pain this," He pointed to his scar. "Caused me when I thought about hurting you..." he explained. Lilith gulped, she knew what it meant but she wasn't going to tell.

"I don't think I'm too sure either. I'll go home and research it, then come back with an answer." She said, the male looked at her for awhile, before letting her go.

Slenderman watched the girl leave and teleported home, a little confused. Jeff noticed and asked what was wrong.

"Oh, nothing. It's just someone I spoke to in the forest." He explained. Jeff raised an eyebrow.

"Well? Why you sound confused about them?" He asked. Then Slender tilted his head.

"Well...I couldn't kill her...everytime I even thought about it, my scar would hurt....but...she has one in the same place as my own." Slenderman explained, he turned his head to Jeff who was sitting, staring at him, gobsmacked.
"What?"

"Welp. Never thought I'd say this, but it looks like you found love slender. She's your soulmate." Jeff said. Slender got even more confused.

"Hold on..can we just go back to the fact you never thought you'd say that? I mea-" Slender got cut off when Jeff walked over and started talking.

"Now's not the time my freaky, slender friend. We must go get you your love of a lifetime!" Jeff yelled. Slender felt heat rise up to his face as his skin tinted grey. He was blushing.

"J-Jeff... maybe not right now? She said about meeting me tomorrow anyway so I'll talk to her then.." He said. Jeff looked at him and thought then nodded and walked away.

"Fine! But I'm coming with you!" He yelled as he ran off. Slender sighed and sat down thinking. But then his mind drifted to Lilith... My soulmate... He said in his mind.
I'll talk to her about it tomorrow... right now... I need sleep.. It's 9AM.. It's getting late. He thought. Then teleported to his room to enjoy a nice slumber.
