The night had just started in the city of Domino. People were either enjoying a relaxing evening in the comfort of their home or they were out traveling in the cold to partake in the night life the city had to offer. East Domino, in particular was home to a popular night club named Incubus Dreams. Not a settle name for its purpose but it lured a heathy crowd . It was the only business that could partly operate as a strip-tease club outside of the seedy red-light district. With the big open dance floor, clean well-hidden booths, reasonable price drinks and eye-catching exotic dancers (both male and female), it was more than a club, it was an experience.

Though for Yugi Muto, it was like any other night club. The heavy pulse of the music felt like a distanced hum and the flashing lights from the dance floor and small stages where performers did their acts irritated his head. In his younger days, this place would have been a gold mine, but now it seem dull. A group of women in the prime of their beauty passed his table giggling and talking rapidity. Yugi's nose winced then took a sip of his drink. Even the smell of excitement and lust that lingered here no longer appeal to him. The sting of the clear alcohol barley helped to lighten his mood as he waited for his appointment. If it wasn't because his friend asked to meet him here Yugi would have and early dinner of fast food and gone to sleep early.

His stomach growled loudly, and he took another sip of his drink, but his body remained unimpressed with the liquid and growled again. Tilting his head back Yugi closed his eyes. He took a cleansing breath hoping to distract himself from the hunger. The obnoxious beat of the music became louder in his ears, so he took another slow inhale of the warm sticky air attempting to meditate. This time his little trick worked and the lively scene around him faded away. Yugi concentrated on the sound and feel of air passing over his slightly parted lips and the beat of his heart. The alcohol now started to work its magic of hiding his hunger under a light buzz. Yes, he could stay like this waiting for his friend to finally show up. He could have, if it weren't for a scent wafting his way.

The smell, sweet and oh so palatable on his tongue jerked Yugi of his meditative state. His eyes of stone amethyst snapped open and with a small turn of his head his nose directed him to the source of the scent. There seated at the bar was a beautiful dark-haired woman idly chatting with friends as a manicure finger played with the rim of her drink. Yugi watched her for barely a second when her bright green eye flashed at him. She had not expected him to look her way, and the corner of her lip turned upward at him. Her eyes lingered on Yugi as her finger continued to circle the rim of her glass. Dressed in a tight black dress that showed off her heavy breast with her green eyes staring at him as her finger circled made Yugi think of a witch stirring her cauldron hoping to cast a spell on him. Thought made his own lip turn up as he mentally chuckled. The woman took this as a sign of interest but became confused when Yugi turned his head away.

Two more minutes. I'll wait two more minutes and if he doesn't show up, I'll...

"Ah! So, you made it!"

Yugi dropped his head a sighed as his friend sat down across from him. Looking up he tartly replied, "I should be the one saying that after an hour of waiting for you."

"Hey, don't get sour at me." The man said holding up his hands. The man smiled charmingly with a flash of white teeth. He was a dashing young man with dark black hair and dark green eyes. Yugi brow twitched at the wolfish smile that he knew his friend saved for the ladies and when he was up to something. "Blame the fun police." The man said pointing to someone else.

"I have nothing against fun as long as the rules are being followed." Said a soft elegant voice.

The voice belonged to someone Yugi both respected and feared. He had soft like features that perfectly hide the power of life and death he held. Pure white feathered hair fell around his shoulders and melted gold eyes stared pleasantly at him.
